There's an event that they stopped doing it was the Gamma storm event you were able to get 1 pieces every event but they stopped doing it I believe they did it last month as well

Upgrade from normal to 1 star actually cost 2 items and 50 advancement parts, then for 2nd star again the same with additional 50 advancement parts, which in total is 4x6k=24k, plus 150*100=15k. So, from normal set to 2 star is 39k of iron plates. 😅 So, yeah, it costs arm and leg to do them higher than 2 stars.😂
