5 hours after I uploaded this video, they buffed some of the lowest performing classes on this list! Goes to show the numbers don't lie 😉Tamer, Solo, Soul Snatch, and Divine Retribution all got a buff. I will keep an eye on their new performance and update you guys in a couple of days 💪

Soul Snatch just got buffed pretty hard from the patch. I would put it at B probably. But I agree with everything else. Good video! (Snatch performs well on doctor cuz of aoe on blue chimera)

This is probably the best tier list I watched. The good thing is that any class build and played properly will perform just fine. Some just have higher floor and ceilings and you can't help it. I've tried them all till spider queen before decided to stay with Warrior and Necro mainly bcs I found them the most fun to play (they aren't meta being my 2nd reason). I think warrior dps should rank higher tho, bcs even me who focus on tank often topping the dps chart without even trying 😅

Couldn't agree more! Every class is more than capable of topping out the DPS charts, even with some of the "stronger" or more "meta" classes in the same raid! Definitely play whichever spec you have the most fun in!

Paladin is super fun but it is true that it is hard to make the highest dps, we need very specific stats on the items for it, + the rng on the crits 😢 quite frustrating too is to have a bit a of lag while doing dps

I think it should be noted that there are two different solo specs for bard, the first one being way harder to be consistent with. Second one is much better now that they fixed battle assistant. It's still not as good as the DPS only classes, but it can do ok.

@@DuckzYT123 u dont know what i meanXD,, ofcourse we(warrior) can be always top dps if we is the only one doing the right rotation skills and gear setup while your other party member doing wrong and also gap lvl inscribe stone (its skill issue) but if we all the same,, doing correct rotation and gear set up, u will know that some classes will go up higher than warrior,,

Finally, real objective data! Would it be possible for you to run a similar analysis on tank classes? I'm not sure what metrics you would use....total healing? My understanding is that all mitigation is considered healing.....

So the game calculates tanking prowess in terms of dps as well 😅 it's hard to quantify "tanking". Even something like mitigation, if tank A sidesteps an attack, while tank B just stands in it, which tank did better?

@@AoLastShelter I hear you but wouldn't "total healing" serve as a meaningful proxy? In other words, if shields and healing all count as healing, that covers a lot of ground for the effectiveness of tanking. The only question I have is whether actual mitigation (i.e. defense, glancing, etc) also counts as healing or is factored into some kind of metric

The fact that, out of all the pure DPS classes, mage is the only one to not have an A/S tier spec is just sad. Here's to hoping they give Mage a some love like they just did with the worst performing specs. Also, duel definitely needs a nerf, shit's busted on PvE and PVP.

Nice job King! Yes, the runs are padded 100%, but mathematically padding isn't an issue. Every spec has people padding their parses, so the functionality still applies. The specs with the highest padded parses are still the specs with the highest non-padded parse. It's not a coincidence that the 3 specs that were just buffed were all in the bottom 4 specs in this video (which was uploaded BEFORE any balance patch notes)?

@@AoLastShelter It kind of is, Ill use my runs as an example "King", Merfolk King is my worst elite because we are killing before I can shatter mobs to pad my dps, also I'm pretty sure it have 40-50 stacks on tree without anyone else in the party hitting the boss doesn't add up well "mathematically", synthesis doctor is legit waiting for second blue orb and then shattering the mobs and killing the boss. Gemini I got legit, but I got a god run of rng resets, also archdruid I padded on mobs. The problem with the tier list is that it forgets a couple things, neither of the top 2 classes are the best AOE class, so they would lose if a party decided to boost for example a frost mage, and letting them full pad on mobs for like more than half the bosses, also it forgets the value of team buffs. The best dps depends on if the boss is AOE, and if you value what they bring to the table, also I'm 90% sure that barbarian is comparable to duel for single target, and they are normally a pad class. I would be more then willing to debate with you at some point if you like, see if we can get a tier list part 3 XD

i honestly disagree about thunder barb dps spec not in S tier in every single category i played raid AR every single day barb dps has insane dps if you understand how dps barb works its kinda sucks honestly in spider queen players putting barb dps in eggs instead of boss without knowing that barb dps us sucks when you change target all the time cuz there is a thing called stacks and if you change target it will disappear barb is 1 of the highest single target burst dps class in the game not accurate at all even priest dps mehhh

Barb does really well in some raids, like ancient tree because of exactly what you said, the stacks. Unfortunately however, the dps parses consider ALL dps, including mobbing, which gives the edge to other classes like Justice who have high AOE damage

@@AoLastShelter for me single target only? duel and thunder dps specially in mid fight barb has 25%+ dmg when the boss is around 45 percent below and that is not chance it will actually increase your dmg 25 percent when the boss hit 45 percent till it dies that is almost half of the fight
