Damn! I haven't played this game for mor than 10 years probably, but I still remember that I only played Isis with a Fast Food Heroic strat. With AoM Retold, I am interrested in playing this game back, and I've been wondering if the FFH was still a thing. So I watched this replay. And what a game! Thanks for casting it, it was really entertaining! (and FFH was not a thing in that game ahah).

Everyone is doing the fast prosperity into multi-town centers + priests forward aggression these days, lol. It used to be mocked, but Boit is kind of an S-tier 304, and he will come around when Magic does it. In my opinion, fast prosperity is one of the most overpowered (OP) early advantage strategies (for Eggy) - maybe the most OP in the entire game. I discovered fast prosperity when I watched recorded games from the mid-2000s to early 2010s. I noticed someone performing an Eclipse-priest rush as Isis (against Set to kill early hunters while disabling his shifting sands god power), and I thought he should have used fast prosperity to make the priest Eclipse rush even more powerful. Unfortunately, that player did not use fast prosperity and instead used it during the heroic transition (like a typical Eggy player). He eventually lost because his rush wasn’t effective enough. Based on that recorded game, I found out that you can also easily build 3 town centers with fast prosperity. In my opinion, Bast is quite risky to choose. I prefer Anubis because of the snakes and the Anubite, which can deal with harassers better than the less nimble Sphinx.

They nerfed Isis and Ra - Isis lost her +0.33% extra HP for every upgrade, and Ra only has a +15% HP bonus for Migdol units and nothing else. And Monuments only has 5% hack armor now instead of 30%

It was better to turbo collect since it was front line hunt, he was able to get 4/6 giraffe that way notably, with gatherers upgrade, 15 vills can fully carry the meat from one hunt, so you hunt giraffe -> pick it clean instantly -> manually drop off -> go next if he split them, or he sent only 6 forward, he would've gotten nothing and possibly lost that fight since 6 vills can't hold against vanilla hoplites as well

@@TheMonkeystick If you test the mechanics its really not worth it to 'turbo' hunt that far out with all the risk along with it, I can't remember exactly how he done it but maybe to deny the food before his enemy gets it I suppose
