@@BambabahI mean one game is historically accurate(somewhat) units vs other historically accurate units, and one is the historically accurate (somewhat) units + mythological units + god powers vs other historically accurate units + myth units+ god powers. The one with god powers and mythology is inevitably more entertaining.

I got AoE1 (full base game, minus dlc content) in a cereal box, twice. And it had a demo for AoM Campaign (tutorial and first 2 missions), along with cinematics for AoM.

Wiz doing the "don't build the right units to counter the enemy army" challenge, hirdmen/godi would of countered that 2 unit comp well, throw in a few raiding cav to raid his only sources of gold and it's gg 10 minutes early.

Those legacy players probably forgot these units exist. You can see blue adding Berserk (Ulfsark) which would be correct against cav in OG AoM.

He made very bad decisions throughout. Like not making hirdman and godi when the opponent is pretty much going for cav and ranged myth units. He kept on making hersirs, huskarls and berserk for some reason. Maybe it was a challenge or something?

As norse I would play around the new hero unit, the javelin thrower, to counter the centaurs. I really saw and opportunity for Wiz to play with them but he just went full of Huskarl to stop the arrows but not to kill them. Another thing I learned is that you can really focus on technology with Freyr and take advantage for that. I noted and I'll try it by myself!

yeah it take 2.5x longer for any upgrade. It idles one of your production buildings which is annoying in the early game when you don't have many to begin with

The Asgardian Hillforts have a higher attack. That's the main difference between them and regular hill forts. Plus they only cost favor so you can really commit to training huskarls and axe throwers

Wouldn't he though? I think that ceasefire only affects unit/building attacks, i.e. if ceasefire is active, you can still meteor rain the enemy army down. At least I think this is how it worked in OG version.
