Ordered the UL5 v5 last week. Looking forward to building it. My very first build. Haven't even shipped out the frame yet but judging from other comments they are slow at that lol

Quel moteur vous pouvez me conseiller ? Je vole surtout tranquille et cruising… merci !!!! 🤓👍🍀

Outstanding. Did not know your the creator of the AOS frames. I recently built a 3in quad with your AOS 3.5 V5.. Only suggestion and issues I have with these frames is: 1.) Add some pictures or suggested FC mounting. I struggled trying to fit the Speedybee F745 FC and DJI O3. I had to forward mount the FC inorder for the O3 to fit in the rear 2.) Your arm guard protectors do not provide raised surface soft tpu landing pads. This inevitably scratches the frame when landing. I know your AOS frames have a newer landing pad 3.) Please start providing GPS mounting. I ended up designing a M10 nano mount that utilizes the front camera standoff. Perhaps include one that is incorporated with the rear antenna

All truly valid, he made a video about the V5 frames where he indeed suggested to mount the fc forwards and the o3 in the back but a included manual would be quite valuable

@@timmieskills absolutely, if a QR code or link was added to the manual. That would have been soo helpful. Having cut the motor wires for the XNOVA 1804's already with the FC mounted in the middle... became a mess

@@EagleEyeShooting I don't think there's a manual at all, Chris has made some build guides so that could be linked but a manual in text and photos would be better imo. Unfortunate tho on cutting the motor wires short lol. I do really love the flight feel of the 3.5 its so responsive and playful and even with betaflight defaults it flies like a dream

If you are not chasing weight - there is a nice skid plate available to print that protects the bottom plate (available on thingiverse)

really wish more vendors stocked the aos 4 v5. Basically forced to use cnc drones which takes about 10 days every time lol.

My frame order finally shipped. By the time it's delivered it'll be nearly 3 weeks. They are definitely not very fast

AOS frames from cncdrones are a disaster. They use the lowest quality carbon that snaps on a rough landing. The machining is atrocious: edges are not cleaned properly and are splintering off. The plastic bag you get is full of carbon dust. Some press nuts aren't installed straight. They bundle cheap screws - some with broken threads - that strip out easily. And you get none of the accessories you'd need to mount, say, an antenna. About the only good thing that can be said about them is that they are quick to put together. If you don't mind spending a bit more time assembling a frame you're much better off buying one from quadmula, rotorriot or impulserc. The price is about the same but the quality is night-and-day. (As for the resonance - that's mostly snake oil. Most modern frames are fine in that regard.)

if you want to build a fast frame have a look at the red bull quad frame
