CORRECTION: As promised, here's the correct analysis for the Stormfiends' Shock Gauntlets melee output... In the graphic in the video I originally had their output at somewhere around -43%, but then I tried updating it live and it came out to -6.5% or so. But I forgot to re-update the old profile's to-wound value for the critical hits, after which the output of the new version actually went positive! SO FINAL ANSWER: Shock Gauntlets are actually around 6% better in 4.0 than 3.0. So that means the only melee profiles that actually got nerfed were the Clubbing Blows, which are the basic attacks for the better shooting profiles. Thanks for your patience! I knew there was something wrong with my calculation, but wanted to get it as right as possible for you guys out there!

Ratties!! A friend of mine has a vast contingent of skaven skulking in the club. It shall be interesting what he'll cook up using the new rules. He likes hordes of clanrats with moulder and skryre units the most, and I regularly fight rat ogres (ogors?) with lightning cannon support en masse. Looking forward to unit points something fierce!

never played against Skaven or as skaven, but starting a skaven army now. got the Combat patrol and will have 2 x skaven from the start box. is 100 clan rats to many, or can you run horde. :D

Welcome to the Clans! Yeah, 100 Clanrats is def a lot, but not unreasonable, especially in 3rd edition. It depends mainly on what type of army you want to play! We still don’t know the points values of things in 4th (but should soon!), so it s hard to say if 100 will ever be seen, but I am digging their output, so I think there could be something there.

Gentlemen just as a heads up since it's a brand new fresh upload, the audio is quiet to an extreme. I have you maxed on my speakers (to the point that clicking on another video blows my speakers up, I checked) and it's barely conversation volume. Super excited for another Strategoi video though!
