The employer filed GC for H4 (wife) while the husband is on H1B. The wife's employer adds the husband as a derivative applicant. If she starts using her GC-EAD but her husband does not use it. Is her husband still on H1B or are they both on pending AOS?

What if new employer not willing to give or file 485J? We shouldn’t join that company ? EAD is also employer dependent if employer has to file 485J as not many companies wants to do anything in related to your immigration status at all, they just want you be take that burden.

Why cant a similar video be done on L1 EAD (and AOS pending in EB1C) and transfer to different company ?

How many times does I-140 gets approved. I am surprised at it? My I-140 got approved earlier then I moved to a new location in the same company then again my I-140 was filed and then again now when I-485 and I-140 is again filed together. Why is this so complicated every time?

My priority date is august 2021, I filed downgraded I-485 in oct, 2020 and I-140 approved and received combo card. Can i continue work on h1b with my current employer and do second job on ead? Non-immigrant vs immigrant status

My wife got EAD approved and received EAD card 2 weeks back. The validity is matching the cap exempt H1B expiry(06/30/2023) that I had with my previous employer when we applied for her EAD. I mean EAD approved based on I-140 from previous employer. I worked with them for about 7 months after it was approved. My priority date is in 2021. My job profile is same as before. Could you tell me if we could apply for extension right away using current cap H1B? She has validity for about 8 months from now. We havent started GC application with new employer yet. Thank you
