GIVE US CHORFS BACK! The last (and 3rd?) time chaos dwarfs were put into Legends or discontinued was to much and killed the hobby for a while for me. But damn it, it only needed those Hobgrots and that Hashut Warband to hype me up again and here I am building a full dwarf army (Fyreslayers, Kharadron and CoS) to fill the time until their glorious return.

Hey Doug, you might find this interesting, the lore in Kragnos and the one that you retell here has actually been retconned in the core book, where it concerns the Slaanesh twins. In Kragnos, the witch hunters kill the twins, in the core book, this is actually no longer the case. Check it out, that's quite something!

What I am really hoping is that we learn more Thunderstrike armor. I know that the armor was forged in response to the machinations of Be'lakor and ensures that fallen Stormcast still go to Azyr and I am left wondering what happens if the armor is torn to bits or removed before killing the Stormcast - will they get caught in the storm or do the properties of the armor go deeper than that?

Can nagash atleast win one epic 1v1 (even tho it wasnt a 1v1 against teclis) He is obviously stronger than all those he has ”died” to and loses becuz some random bs every single time...
@beastmendelegate19463 жыл бұрын
The answer is no. GW hates Nagash. If you want to get me started then kick the hornets nest and I’ll go into full detail about all the ways GW has screwed over Death as a faction narratively and Nagash in particular. Instead of making Nagash a cool, scary, alternative to chaos, they’ve decided to turn him into a bumbling moron who can never do anything right. Nagash is now a meme for failure. I was never looking for Death to win AOS, however I at least expected them to make Death and Nagash kind of cool so that people who play Death would want to stay invested. But GW isn’t having it. So don’t expect them to ever let Nagash win a fight or do anything right because they won’t.
@wrongix65443 жыл бұрын
@@beastmendelegate1946 Exactly my thoughts. And its so sad cuz when they made him the only way to beat chaos (by starving the chaos gods of life) it felt it was soooooo cool and then they just continue the bs with him losing to weaker enemies.... Atleast they tell the stories so that you can still say that nagash was suppose to win if (some random bs didnt happen) but still its so fucking annoying that this has happend like 5 times... And one more thing i know it doesnt matter but none of the youtubers talking about the fights nagash have show what happend in the fight so all who watch just get the part of nagash losing and therefore think he is weaker than his enemies (just like in this video ;_;). Im not saying he is the strongest i still think lord kroak could win with some bs after his body is destoryed, the chaos gods obviously if they could do something and i think sigmar and nagash are about equal in power.

@beastmendelegate19463 жыл бұрын
@@donovanriswold4936 Like I said, I was never looking for Nagash to win AOS. But GW could have him win some things, lol. They could have made him a competent villain. Instead they made him an incompetent moron. And look, I respect your opinion but I also disagree with it. Chaos doesn’t leave survivors if they get their way. They blew up the last world and ended Warhammer Fantasy Battles, lol. Chaos has completely destroyed many worlds according to the lore. They could have made Nagash cool and scary; a nice alternative villain character to Chaos. But GW decided to go a different way. And I have to disagree again about the fight with Teclis. God fights aren’t boxing matches. When gods in AOS fight they bring all the tools they have. It isn’t Ali vs Frazier duking it out in the middle of the ring. They bring their armies and their magic and their tricks. And Nagash lost. Again. Beaten to death by guys in cow-hats while he was chained to a mountain. Lamest, ending ever, imho. Now Nagash is the only faction leader to have been killed by another faction leader. And now it’s happened twice. Archaon killed him and Teclis killed him. GW turned Nagash (my fave character btw) into the biggest, loser in AOS. You can disagree but that’s how I see it.

@beastmendelegate19463 жыл бұрын
Look on the bright side, I’m a Death player, my whole faction got defeated by guys in cow hats. My faction leader lost his second fight and died. Again. They won’t even let me play Arkhan in the new vampire/skeleton army that just came out. And he came in the Skeleton Hoard Start Collecting Box! If I want to play him I have to start a new Bonereapers army now. At least Gordrak fought Kragnos to a stand still. He gets to keep his green, head held high. Nagash and Arkhan don’t even have heads anymore.

I try not to go negative when I post because there is so much negativity on the internet and I want people to be able to get excited and to like what they want to like without me poo-pooing it. So I’ll keep it brief. I feel betrayed by GW as a Death player. Not the merchandise. I like the models and GW likes money so they will continue to support the Death faction. But narratively they’ve turned Nagash and the whole Grand Alliance into a meme for failure. The Soul Wars was Nagash’s big, narrative and it ended in complete failure and with the deaths and defeat of almost every major character in the faction. And of course Nagash loses another fight to a faction leader. And dies. Again. I hope whatever your faction is has better luck.
@joemamajoastar87083 жыл бұрын
On the bright side because of Nagash's defeat the soulblight gravelords have more variety in the sense your army doesn't have to be Nagash's little toy I hope Nighthaunt get a similar treatment at some point
@beastmendelegate19463 жыл бұрын
@@joemamajoastar8708 But no dude, GW won’t even allow that, if that’s what you wanted. Vampires have always had independence. But Nagash is the boss. I don’t think Stormcast have any more autonomy than the vampires do. Are the Cow Aelves independent from Teclis or is he their god and leader? We are all free to make up our own stories for our armies but narratively Death was never put in a box that any other faction wasn’t. Orruks join the Waaagh! when the Whaaagh! calls. Every faction musters their banners when the boss calls. Mannfred, Neferata, etc. they all have free will but if Nagash tells them to jump, they jump. No different than any other faction. And Nagash is still there. His defeat isn’t giving anyone any more free will than they already had. And if you were hoping his death would “free” the Mortarchs, it didn’t because he’s still there. And they are all still afraid of him. Even though he can never do anything right. And it’s not just vamps that have free will. Wight Kings rule their own empires independently of Nagash. So do powerful necromancers. Some even oppose him. Show me the Melusia that defy Morathi or the Stormcast that revolt against Sigmar. The whole talking point about death not having autonomy is a bunk argument and always has been. And as players we are free to come up with the narratives for our armies. But the official GW narrative is that Nagash sucks at everything he tries.
