Very new to the game, if anyone can answer this question I'd be very grateful (can't find the answer in game or online) I picked Prolific Swarmers which gives Racial tier 1 units +1 rank. What's +1 rank? Does that mean they start at Soldier? Because all the tier 1's I make are Recruits. Thank you 🙏

I love hoe hard "race" is gettigg belabored as important. They didn't actually change the samification that custom factions undergo, they just put an extra click between "standard" and "custom" trait picks lol. Also every race in the game hs a unique model you can determine visually pretty easily. Just sayin'

Das, I here horrible things about the ai in this game. Has it improved? You had previously said the Age of Wonders 3 was your favorite all-time game, if I remember right. Would you say this game is as good?

Wasn't extremely impressed with AoW 3 and been a little skeptical of this one.
