Just a note to add for Unit 8 (Ecology): Make sure to remember Directional, Stabilizing, and Disruptive Selection and how to recognize those graphs. Directional Selection is when one extreme is favored over the other in species, Stabilizing Selection is when the intermediate or moderate form of a trait is favored over both extremes, and Disruptive Selection is when both extremes of a trait are favored over the moderate form of a trait.

You are correct. I think that she phrased her point exceedingly poorly. Most likely, she was attempting to say that the AP student need to know the underlying biochemistry of mitochondria, instead of merely the typical middle school empty chant. I think that that segment should be edited out of the video, as many student audiences will be very confused by her false claim.

@@samanthaperez358 i got a 5!! very surprising after getting a 4 in both chem and phys 1 in the same year, which were classes that i actually took in school (and yes i took 3 ap sciences in one year b/c our school system is questionable). i really recommend ap bio penguins for a more in-depth review tho, good luck! :)
