nice video tom, good to see a youtube video of a dent tech taking out dents with tools that dont cost more than the car :) on a percentage how much of your work is taking up with dents like that?

Haha, yep some PDR tools are very expensive! My first set was from BLE and they still serve me well today, although I’ve added some a long the way too! As long as you get the dent out that’s all that matters... Most dents are fairly typical to these, a few small door dents, and creases and I also take on some pretty big dent damage too so it’s difficult to put a percentage on it as there’s quite a mix...

Good question, this was a few years ago now but I would say around 1-2 hour repair time for both doors :)

Hi Tom. Thank you so much for your videos. They are really useful and valuable! I have a question. In some point you mention we have to take care not to damage the access point while we are pushing the dent. It is my concern to be as careful as possible and many times I find really difficult not to bend the hole or damage the paint y that area mainly in a bonnet with hail dents. Do you have any video about ways to protect the access points to repair safely in different situations?

Thanks for the question Claudio, no video yet but I will make one and post it soon! To protect the paintwork I often use strong tape on the panel around the hole to stop my tools marking the paintwork and also occasionally put some tape on the tool bar itself and when it comes to straightening the holes there are a few tools that are specifically designed to straighten the hole edges.
