Future people studying for this exam: This is genuinely an extremely helpful video. What I recommend is watching this video and taking notes on EVERYTHING. Pause the video frequently to make sure you get everything. If you are stressed, don't be. I JUST took is this morning, and it was 100 times easier than I expected. I only studied for a few hours over the course of 2 days before the test. My biggest recommendation for the test is to MANAGE YOUR TIME. I was unable to finish the last 4 questions, but I still think I got a 4 or so. If you know your not going to finish, just put something down, because there is a chance that it will be right, but if you don't answer you will for sure get them wrong. Anyway, good luck future testers.

YOU GOT THIS! Things to do to prepare: 1. Connect concepts and definitions to real things you can remember or make a little tune you can sing in your head. you can also maybe do hand signs for certain terms. 2. Before the test, go over stuff you don't remember to well or feel you have only light knowledge on. you can ask a friend to help quiz you if needed. 3. Chat GPT is your friend. ask it to give you practice problems or give you terms to state the definitions of for a unit. Prepares you for the test. 4. You might remember a lot more than you do. Right now, it might seem like you know nothing, but when a specific question for maybe a unit you covered recently shows up, you might actually know the answer. so don't stress, do your best! 5. Active recall and teaching. if you have a friend near by, sibling, or maybe even your dog or some stuffed animals, act like you're a teacher and teach them the topic. you will more deeply understand if you do. THINGS TO DO DURRING TEST: 1. Think logically for FRQ's. It might seem difficult, but usually the answer is ither school, healthcare, or for money reasons. 2. no more than 1 minute per question. I know this seems hard but trust me you can do it. Skim the question and if you feel like you cant answer the question that very moment, its best to dash it and come back. 3. Don't look around. I know it seems obvious, but when you're stuck in a room for two + hours, your eyes can sometimes start to wonder. or if you don't know the answer, then you can easily get distracted. you need every second you have so try to stay focused. 4. Breath, relax. i know its tough, but all you need to do is pass with at least a 50 %. usually there is about 60 to 70 questions on the test. that leaves a lot of room for error, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't still do your best. My AP test is tomorrow and I am so nervous, I have studied and reviewed it but the fear of failure is constantly creeping inside of me. Mr.Sinn I cannot stress how much you have been of a help for me. The explanations and breakdowns of topics are perfect for reviewing and studying. So now i'm sitting here the day before the test watching this complete review video hoping to refresh my mind on all the topics and actually retain the information. if you’re in ap hug, these videos help an insane amount. mr. sinn is so eloquent and knows exactly which concepts are most important to understand for the exam. with his help and a lot of time spent studying, i was able to earn a 5 on my exam, despite being really nervous. you can too! thanks mr. sinn!

watching this a week before my aphg exam. coming back when scores are out. i think i’ll get a 3/4 on the MCQ and the the FRQs will solidify my score of four. i’ll be back in summer. thank you Mr. Sinn. update: just took my exam and i feel really good about it. i think i got a 5 on the MCQs and the FRQs. will be back in july to confirm. again i could not have done it without you mr sinn. Unfortunately I didn’t find Mr. Sinn until towards the end of the year but even in just a few months he’s helped save me. I’m taking the test tomorrow and I hope I do well, but I just want to say thank you to Mr. Sinn for all the effort you put in to these videos. I have my AP test tomorrow and I am so nervous. I've relied on my notes and Mr. Sinn the entire year, which has been really helpful. He's great at summarizing units and making sure you understand the key concepts. I'm doing my best to stay in the right mindset and realizing that as long as I am trying and actually putting effort, it's okay. This is my first AP test as a Sophomore and I'm hoping for at least a 3, but my ideal score is a 4. I hope that my courage isn't defeated and I will find more within me to take on another AP class, (I aim more towards AP Psychology only because I've always been intrigued with that study). I will definitely utilize Mr. Sinn for my entire High School career. Thank you, Mr. SInn! I wish everyone else luck on the test tomorrow. Try your best, take it easy, and pace yourself. Just because you don't know an answer, doesn't mean you aren't capable. Your effort is better than none. ❤

For those using this video to study for the ap exam, it's great to be reintroduced to all these terms and theories but I recommend going further into each unit through his other videos to be able to apply these terms to real life situations.

don’t worry! AP tests don’t matter. what colleges look for is the fact that you sat through an AP class, and that you actually passed it. AP tests don’t go on your record or your report card so colleges won’t even look at them unless you show your score off.

I started studying 48 hours before my test, I binged the entirety of his channel and took half a notebook worth of notes. I haven’t slept in two days either. My test is in two hours, we will see how this goes. I feel like I will get a 3. My MCQs average at 30-36 out of 60. And I think I feel pretty good about FRQs 4/7 on each hopefully. I would predict I got 45/60, So overall I wouldn’t be surprised if I got a four or even a five. I feel pretty confident!
