What I struggled to learn for 2 months in 11th grade I crunched in 20 minutes, and not even in my native language. Get this man the recognition he deserves.

Holy crap thank you SO MUCH! Before this video I could NEVER understand why the heck there was a centripetal force, and this explained everything so clearly and perfectly for me. I completely understand now, wow.

The last equation presented in this video is incorrect due to Kepler's third law "the squares of the orbital periods of the planets are directly proportional to the cubes of the semi-major axes of their orbits"(t^2 ∝ r^3). The equation can be "T^2=4π^2r^3/GM" or "T=2πsqr(r^3/GM)".

21:42 I think you forgot the square root? as T is squared.

Good video; though usually the positive direction is chosen to be toward the center of the circle, and T^2 ~ R^3 Kepler's Law

The last part is wrong. The square of the Period supposed to be directly proportional to the cube of radius

Good eye. You are correct. There used to be a comment on this video already pointing out that error, but I don't see it anymore. Thanks!
