This is a good refresher but why are we not doing z test or 2 sample z test? I did it in my class but is it not on the exam?

There are occasional times where you COULD use it, or simply use the normalcdf function. Some teachers use the Z Test; others just the normalcdf to cut down on the number of different tests students need to work with. Good luck tomorrow ;).

Generally, we use a 1-proportion Z test or 2 proportion Z test. Are they Z-Tests? Yes. But the Z-Test function in your calculator is not normally needed.
