Well... If "playable" is taken literally, then Thresh Jungle, AD or AP, is definitely that, in the same way Yuumi Jungle is playable. If we're looking for closer to 50% winrate with an ability to influence the game, Thresh Jungle still has that but I'd recommend tank, like we start off with Sunfire, but due to a slow clear and low durability, Thresh is hardly keeping up with modern junglers in our modern grub-loving jungle of Season 14.
So he certainly isn't meta, he won't be the most effective in the jungle and is better elsewhere, but he is playable, and I'd argue even viable unless your MMR is strictly in the higher end, but that depends how much you care about losing a game or two.
Despite this game being played with a premade 5 of viewers, I'd happily play Thresh jungle with smaller premades or even alone in normals, as it's a fun challenge and not ineffective enough for me to call it trolling. Don't recommend going with it blindly, because without knowing you're doing, it'll turn to "trolling", in the colloquial sense, real fast.

The only thresh skin I struggle to enjoy is Dark Star. I feel like the Q animation is too clunky and slow. Don't get me wrong, I love every thresh skin, just my love for that one is really low :D

unbound thresh feels rushed to be released, which it was because they wanted something that they could release in china one of the biggest mobile gaming countries and it is sort of a Band-Aid fix (idk if it is still like this but everything in wild rift displays normal thresh instead of unbound like profile/champ image and map icon which sorta proves how rushed it was)
