I finished world history last year and I just want to make it clear: *DO NOT WORRY*. You only need a minimum of a 3/6 to pass. Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't do your best but I'm saying to not stress. You only need a minimum of half of the multiple choice to pass and I know that you can totally do that. The SAQ's are super easy (that doesn't mean that you shouldn't take them seriously). For both the LEQ and the DBQ you can easily get both your context point and your thesis point in the same paragraph and when you think of it this way, it brings into perspective the fact that you only need a 3/6 (3/5 if you ignore the complexity point) to pass both essays and it's basically impossible to fumble that third point for both essays unless you do absolutely nothing. There's also the fact that if you do well enough in a particular area of the exam, it could possibly (if barely) make up for another section. Do your best everyone, because your best is always good enough❤

Hey this is awesome but just a tiny correction: you probably know this and this is probs one of those last-minute typo error type thingies that we teachers are always at the mercy of, BUT the Manchus are not one of the gunpowder empires! There are three gunpowder empires: the three Muslim empires of the Ottoman Empire, Safavid Empire and the Mughal Empire, in the period lasting from the mid 16th to the early 18th century. Hodgson and McNeill coined the term -- the introduction of gunpowder weapons in that area was what prompted changes such as the rise of centralized monarchical states, giving rise to the stability of these three empires. ANYWAYS, you've really distilled the CED into a nutshell here -- I'm feeling super inspired to send my students your checklist as a last-minute pre-test present :D Best of luck everybody!
