I remember that day very well. It was sunny and warm. I came home from work for lunch and saw my mother watching TV, and they were showing this tragedy. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was painful and scary. I couldn't take my eyes off the TV and go back to work as if nothing had happened. Then there were more reports from your country. At that time, our people were very worried and sympathized with the American people. I hate those who hurt others. Eternal peace and the kingdom of heaven to the dead. This must not be forgotten. AP, thank you for streaming. I was watching yesterday live and there was an ad that went off in the middle of one of the bell rings (to commemorate the collapse of the North Tower). Although I know this is not intentional, it is not acceptable. I understand you are a business that needs to make money. However, next year, have the ads ONLY when someone first clicks on the video and have mid-roll ads turned off. That way you could avoid situations that could be disrespectful to the dead.

I just wanted to send my thoughts and condolences to all the victims and first responders of 9/11. Still the biggest devastating moment that affected this country in my lifetime. Very surreal to believe it happened even today. The last thing I’d ever wish on anyone is to experience a similar situation like this ever again anywhere in the world. Just wanted to send my thoughts of compassion and positive reinforcement that the rest of the world is just as disheartened that this moment ever happened and that not a single life was lost in vain. And we can’t forget the terrorist attacks that affected Washington, D.C. as well. Forever in remembrance.

I'll never forget hearing about the story of 2 fighter jet pilots who were willing to give their lives to take down any remaining hijacked plane (flight 93 as it turned out to be). They watched the first 2 planes hit the WTC and the third hit the Pentagon on the TV and then raced to their jets. They divised a plan to take down a hijacked plane as they did not have any time to have missiles loaded on their jets. One would ram their jet into the cockpit and the other at the tail of the plane to ensure that it does not reach its intended target. Ultimately, their lives were saved by the brave souls aboard flight 93 as they managed to take down the plane themselves. This story just utterly crushes my heart every time I think about it. Their names are Lt. Gen. Marc Sasseville and Heather Penney
