I went with a metal slip trip and had Meatbanana42069's slip trip extender printed. It prevents damage to your super safety cam and detent. It also replaces the need for the buffer and adds mass to slow down the bolt carrier. I think it's best to avoid locking piece changes if possible.

@@BobbumMan-i8t I agree with everything up until the locking pieces part. Specifically for ap5s shooting suppressed. I think it can be safer to go with a rcm 100 degree

If you go with v2 or v3 he states you don't need it. I ordered v2 off SKO prints I'm still going to use the buffer, the website states you must use it on full size only though.

@OutdoorLayman The locking lug thing depends on the can, with a flow through can standard locking lug works best. for a standard can yes, change the lug.

Cool video man. I have a similar set up. No super Safe. I love it. I like my MPX better tho. Do you like your AP5 or Stribog better? From the point of view of a defensive sub gun set up (truck gun, bag gun, edc etc…) Thank you!
@OutdoorLayman19 күн бұрын
@@TylerJames-gf8ms nothing beats the feeling of shooting a full size mp5/ variant BUT the stribog is a close second. If I had to trust my life to one or the other though, it’d be the stribog, I’ve literally never had a malfunction in like 2000 rounds with any ammo , it’s also basically gtg out of the box. Mp5, and especially clones can require some tuning and breaking in - as well another $250-$500 to modernize with a brace/ stock, rail, and optic mount.

@ what about with sub sonic hollow points in the Stribog?
@OutdoorLayman18 күн бұрын
@ tbh I have only shot super sonic hollow points, maybe a couple boxes worth. Everything ran perfect. I do shoot flat nose subsonic quite a bit and those run great too

@OutdoorLayman5 күн бұрын
@@Arc30pistolas there are cheaper options out there. There are 3d printed options from vendors like skoprints, but if you want metal lee is the only option. It won’t work with the standard OEM lowery though

@ you can cut it down to like 1.9 inches. I wouldn’t go further. You can also round your hammer’s head and not need the buffer at all
