It's in the DNA. I was in the Army Infantry during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. When going through OSUT in late 1990, on our first FTX we had one of these for our squad and sure enough the first guy that the operator looked at took a piss. Naturally, we all had to have a look-see and various volunteers took a piss so none of us would miss out on this golden opportunity of using this technological marvel for its intended purpose. 😁

uhm akhtually this isnt the gun 🤓🤓🤓 This is the PNVS (pilot night vision system). It along with the TADS (Target Acquisition & Designation Sight) are together on top of each other on the nose of the aircraft. You can differentiate between the two by the symbology displayed, I wont go into it. Neither of these two systems are the cannon. The cannon is a completely separate system that can be slaved to any available acquisition source (TADS, pilot or co-pilot hmd, fixed forward, and more depending on the aircraft configuration).
