By 94, the sound completely changed as far as the aggression of hiphop. From Breaking Atom and De la Soul is Dead to Illmatic and The Most Beautifulness' thing in This World was only 3 years. You can thank our bias media so called reporting live. They only profile certain artists, If the artist is low key legendary you may not hear anything. I found out about Apache 9yrs ago and it made me angry. Granted, social media wasn't what it is today but damn. The source or XXL, Vibe should have had the news posted front page.
