Very true. Learned this in the 58D. Now I'm flying L.E. 58 Alpha Chucks in/near a busy, tower controlled/classD airport with a large flight school. Thank goodness for ADS-B, much easier to keep up with all the "student traffic" in my AO.

Excellent video. One of the best aids I got when pursuing my IFR ticket was getting the chance to sit in on the local TRACON and watching them work traffic. From that experience it became MUCH easier for me to build that mental map needed for IFR flight by knowing how the controllers built their own mental map. It allowed me to be ahead of the controller 95% of the time, simply by listening to what they were telling other airplanes.

@@CasmoTV I find Tacview to be a useful tool to quickly analyze a flight. Having "trails" on is basically a line showing the path you traveled in 3D. It has helped me a lot

Heard in the infantry world as well. Magazine changes. Dropping primary for secondary. Close quarter combat and clearing a house all utilize the same concept. Love the video and thank you for the information!!

I'm curious, which module are you looking forward to the most/think you'll fly more with. The Kiowa or Apache? Granted the Kiowa will likely be out before the Apache but I'm just curious which one you'd enjoy more in DCS?
