Coloured immigration has once again moved into the forefront of British politics with the leak of a confidential government report stating that there are widespread abuses of the immigration laws and that the number of people waiting to come to Britain is virtually infinite. The report was used by MP Enoch Powell to repeat his dire warning about the future course of race relations in Britain. The extreme right-wing National Front has also staged more demonstrations against coloured immigration. This film reviews the immigration arguments, includes interview with immigrant leaders and British politicians and looks at points of racial tension in Britain.

Enoch Powell was right. Such a insightful, articulate visionary. I thought him a crank and racist but think his words ring true today.

One thing he wasn't was a racist or extremist. He was concerned about the ability for immigrants to assimilate into the UK. And the financial cost to the taxpayer of immigration. Many of these people have made a good contribution to our society. And some have not. But a minority have had a detrimental effect on the UK. Labour brought these people into the UK so that would ensure a generation of voters for them. And couldn't have cared less about the social effect of unmonitored immigration into the UK. Just look at the effect of Cuban immigrants into the USA in the 1970s and 1980s to see that if the wrong people are brought into a country. It can be disastrous. Jewish emigration into Palestine is another example. Which led to a land grab by the Jews. And decades of persecution upon the native peoples. By people who should never have been there in the first place.
