More than 600 Moslem refugees, expelled from Srebrenica by rebel
Serbs, on Saturday (15/7) were in the Bosnian town of Zivinice, 20
km (12.5 miles) from the northern government stronghold of Tuzla.
The refugees, camped in a local school, were being fed by local
residents. But with no relief agencies in the town, the people of
Zivinice are worried about how to cope with the influx. Casim
Mesanovic, a local mathematics teacher, said more and more
refugees were arriving and many were ill. Between 13 and
20-thousand refugees had arrived in Tuzla by Friday.
