I’m not even finished with the video but this is one of my favorite vlogs you’ve done! It felt like watching House Hunters but way more relatable haha

As someone who moved to Houston 3 years ago and my boyfriend works for PwC downtown.. trust me.. living downtown in fun short term but get so old so quick! No heb downtown, and no parking whatsoever when guest come visit. There’s “guest parking” at the apartments but it’s so hard to actually get a spot. We just recently moved about 6min from downtown in the montrose/river oaks area and we are soo much happier being close to grocery stores, food, and it’s overall less chaotic. Just my piece of advice :)
@laurenvazquez67784 жыл бұрын
Oh and you can find a 2 bedroom for about $2200-$2300 just a few minutes down the street instead of almost $3000 downtown! And forgot to mention downtown does not feel safe whatsoever when the sun goes down (sometimes doesn’t even feel safe during the day.. lol) I know you’ll have to be walking Ella outside and you would have to be super careful... and there isn’t much grass lol
@ElaSiromascenko13 жыл бұрын
Lauren, you have no idea how your comment just filled me with hope! We'll be touring places in the Montrose area next weekend and I've been quite meh about it. I was fixed on Downtown because I would have a direct bus commute to work but the places we saw yesterday within our budget had horrible reviews so I sadly had to admit that Downtown is maybe not an option for us right now.

Hey, I loved this video. It's so long and apartment hunting is such a nice change of content. It was also nice to hear Griffin's opinion on the apartments. They seem so big and so expensive to me, because In Germany or here in Scotland, I guess the highest prices would be around 1500$ for buying an apartment for myself. They would definitely be smaller though. Nonetheless, all the apartments were modern and very nicely spaced out. I can definitely see you and Griffin living there. Now, it's getting real and you will start your job soon. If you have to reduce your videos or anything else, in order to be able to spend time with your friends and family, then definitely do it. As you said, mental health and self-care are way too important. I believe you will do everything in a way that will work out :) also thank you for keeping up with vlogmas, when it takes you so much time.

I’m so excited for you! I graduated from Bama 1 year ago and the transition to the working world was tough and my commute was awful! I live in downtown Houston! I live in a high rise and my apartment gym also overlooks the city and pool area, I love it it’s so pretty! However, the one complain I have is that if you’re lifting weights or even using a medicine ball like I do on the floor, the ppl downstairs will complain no matter how lightly you place the weights on the floor. I’m not sure if it’s only at my apartment but it’s a possibility at other places. But other than that I love living here! Excited to see your upcoming Houston vids!

You should watch a video by Payton Maree Charles and see how she plugs in the "like, subscribe, notification" thing and how she plugs her social media pages. It's less confronting and less aggressive than "subscribe" or "follow me" and it'll more likely make people actually want to do that stuff
