There are plenty of flats on sale in Shawland area and some in the West End area. My partner and I have a 2 bdrms flat in the West End. I reckon there are many good ones are on rent too but have to be fast since good properties in Glasgow are being snapped up fast these days.

Those apartments would have been taken now they get snapped up very quickly. Use Rightmove to find an apartment that's the most popular website in the uk. You can have virtual viewings for most places now so you can tell if the apartment is bad or not from that. Hope that helps :)

Thats the going rates for rooms/flats in Edinburgh unfortunately, it's the capital so always gonna be more expensive! Look on rightmove.com and you can filter the search to what you are looking for. Also look on Spare Room you can find cheaper rooms and also find flat mates to rent with. Hope that helps :)

I moved from Glasgow years ago now so I'm not sure on the rental market today but I spent a month in an airbnb and secured the flat within a month so you should be fine :)

You just go on rightmove website and book viewings for the flats you like! This was 7 months ago so rental prices could have gone up/down by now as they are constantly fluctuating

Hi! Yes of course literally all we did was look on rightmove you just go on the website type in Glasgow as the location and you can filter the results as 1 bed/2bed, flat/house etc and just search through the results pick out your favourites and contact the estate agents through rightmove. It’s a really simple process :)

Hi yes, so to rent a property you put in for an offer then if accepted you pay a holding deposit. Then they will do background checks on you (to see if you can afford it basically). If you pass the checks you pay the rest of the deposit and first months rent upfront. The good thing about renting in Scotland is your not tied in to a fixed contract. It’s a 28 day rolling contract so you can leave anytime as long as you give 28 days notice! Hope that helps, happy to answer anymore questions if you need 🙂

​@@daniel3757cosal If there's multiple people who put in an offer they will choose the people they like they most. You only put a deposit down if they chose you. If you don't pass the background check I would assume you get your deposit back but not 100% sure.
