Wow All the way from Maine. Never been. How cool. The best part of the military was the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had. I don’t regret any of it. I do miss it at times. It’s weird. The worst part of the military in my opinion is a lot of things. Poor leadership, favoritism, slow promotions, toxic work environments, time away from family. My personal life a lot of times were interrupted. Those would be my top reasons over the past 12 yrs. & I just fell out of passion for it. Nobody wants to deal with that stuff. That’s why recruiting is hurting. But anyhow I just want to focus on my life and figure out me. I’m still on that journey in my 30’s unfortunately. All good. Thanks for watching. I will definitely try to do more. My life is kinda busy at the moment. 😣 noted ✍🏽

Is it true that Vegas apartments are cheaper? A one bedroom in Los Angeles is nearly $2,000,give or take.The San Fernando Valley is not cheap.

Oh yeah ! Big time. Just go on Zillow and see yourself. But as far as houses, they are getting California ish out here. Still cheaper but they used to be low 200’s a few years back like 2018-19…it’s a different story now.

Apartments in Vegas are out of control. If you find a cheap apartment it’s going to be in a bad area here in Vegas. But if you want to be in a good nice area it’s going to be $1500 or more. Even the apartments by the University are $1500 a month. There’s shared apartments where you have to share a living room and kitchen with your roommates and those are about $1000 a month.

Honestly I’d download Zillow the app and check on apartmentlist. I used those the most. I pop on there every once and a blue moon to see where the prices are at. I can’t apartment search for you and tell you what’s good or not. It’s a combination of looking online, reading the reviews and actually coming out to explore these places yourself. I say grab a few selections, schedule a tour and fly out here.

Where are you originally from? Tbh I’m not sold on Vegas just yet. But I do enjoy that there’s entertainment here. There’s always something going on. UFC, sports, concerts, shows etc etc. Honestly I think nowadays unless you’re a social bird it’s hard to make friends lol. I couldn’t really tell you. If you network well, then I don’t see why not. Have you considered Texas? Houston? I feel like that be a good spot esp to make friends with blk folk and you still will get that cheaper living🙌. I like Texas. How about DC or NY? Always something to do there.

@@JustSavwill Hey Savannah. I’m originally from Jacksonville, FL. It’s very boring, depressing and dead there. I’ve been living in ATL for the past 2 years. My lease is up and I’m looking for something new. Houston is pretty much ATL 2.0 (ghetto and ratchet lol.) Before ATL, I was initially gonna move to Dallas. I flew out there twice. And it’s extremely slow and boring in Dallas. So I passed on it. NYC & DC is CRAZY expensive to live in. My pockets ain’t that deep chile lol. I’ve noticed that luxury apartments are very affordable in Vegas. You can get a luxury 2 bedroom for like $1500-$1600. And 1 bedrooms are even cheaper. So that’s my price range. I’m 28, so I’m in that 25-30 age group. And it’s so hard to make GENUINE friends at this age. I just don’t wanna move across country and be lonely. Feel me? Lol

@@DonRashad yeah I be seeing some stories out of Houston lol. I’d love to live in NY temporarily it’d be fun. Wellll if you’re one of these that like to experiment I say go for it. And it is cheaper to live apartment wise. Now the housing cost is starting to look like California because the influx of ppl coming out here. But as far as being lonely I think it’s a move for you. From your family and friends...I mean it’s up to you. Lol. Some ppl don’t really care. Some ppl get home sick.

I live in England but when I go Vegas I usually stay in a hotel on the strip, but last time I went to Summerlin and stayed at Red Rock Casino Resort. I thought Summerlin was a great place, and if I was living in Vegas I think I'd choose between Summerlin or Henderson. Pros and cons about the same I'd say, and mainly depends on your own preference, whatever is right for you. Personally I would go for Summerlin, but almost 50/50. I know renting an apartment is not cheap, just surprised how out--of-control rent has gotten. Hope you manage to find a nice place to live comfortably and be happy in Las Vegas.

We went to Hawaii and were shocked at how much homeless housing tents there is I was in awe

Yeah it’s pretty sad what’s going on out in Hawaii. The natives are being driven out. There’s apparently a bunch of them moving to Vegas. I saw something about it not too long ago.
