APASSIONATA ist wieder auf Tour: Mit Standing Ovations und frenetischem Applaus wurde die neue Show „Im Licht der Sterne" bereits von tausenden Zuschauern gefeiert. Wie in den letzten Jahren verzaubert APASSIONATA das Publikum mit magischen Begegnungen zwischen Mensch und Pferd!
„Im Licht der Sterne" erzählt in über 30 europäischen Städten die spannende Geschichte von Hauptdarstellerin Leyla. Als sie sich beim Anblick einer Sternschnuppe etwas wünschen will, stürzt diese auf die Erde und zerfällt zu Sternenstaub. Leyla sammelt ihn auf und füllt ihn in ihren Glückbringer. Sie möchte mit dem Sternenstaub alle Menschen glücklich machen. Doch sie wird an ihrem Plan gehindert: Eine dunkle Gestalt entwendet Leyla ihren Glücksbringer. Gemeinsam mit dem geheimnisvollen Reiter Pedro macht sie sich auf Weg den Sternenstaub zurückzuerobern. Eine abenteuerliche Reise beginnt...
Araber
Als Pferdetypus werden die Araber zum ersten Mal bereits 2000 v. Chr. beschrieben. Nach Arabien kamen sie vor 1500 Jahren durch nomadische Beduinen, die ihre „Söhne der Wüste" derart bewunderten, dass sie die Tiere von Hand fütterten und mit in ihren Zelten schlafen ließen. Aus diesem Grunde entwickelte der Araber besonders angenehme Eigenschaften: gutartiges Temperament, einen vorzüglichen Charakter, Duldsamkeit und Anhänglichkeit. Die hochintelligenten Pferde besitzen ein ausgezeichnetes Gehör und einen ausgeprägten Gedächtnis- und Ortssinn. Sie sind darüber hinaus unglaublich zäh und genügsam. Ihre Bewegungen sind leicht, graziös und mit raumgreifenden Gängen.
Araber-Berber
Vor ca. 1000 Jahren entstand diese Pferderasse durch Kreuzung von Arabern oder Vollblutarabern und Berbern. Auch heute ist sowohl die Reinzucht als auch die Kombinationszucht zugelassen.
Besonders in Mitteleuropa werden die schnellen und wendigen Araber-Berber immer beliebter, jedoch gibt es nur sehr wenige Züchter. Der Araber-Berber soll das Beste seiner beiden Ursprungsrassen in sich vereinen.
Züchter wünschen sich ein Erscheinungsbild eines im Quadrattyp stehenden, abgerundeten und harmonischen Pferdes. Der Hals sollte lang und mit einer deutlich längeren, muskulöseren und imposant geschwungenen Oberlinie sein, wie man es auch vom Andalusier her kennt. Das Langhaar ist etwas spärlicher als das des Berbers, dennoch reicht die dicke, füllige Mähne mitunter bis zur Schulter und der Schweif manchmal bis zum Boden. Es kommen alle Farben vor, oft haben die Pferde sogar einen Metallschimmer im Fell.
Zudem gelten sie als äußerst nervenstark. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Bereitschaft, eine enge Beziehung zum Menschen einzugehen. Sie sind sehr sanftmütig, ausgesprochen lern- und arbeitswillig und ihr Temperament gilt als ausgeglichener als das der Vollblutaraber.

Its all about trust. No horse would any of these things if they were afraid. They KNOW and trust no harm is going to happen to them. The "stick" is a quirt, and is just used with a gentle touch as a guide, or for focus. There is obviously a lot of love, trust, and respect between these horses and their handlers or they wouldn't perform at all.

Why are so many people saying that the horses are unhappy? Just let a horse stand "naturally" on the field, it would get bored very soon. I used to know a horse, that hated it just standing around on the field and was happy to do something and also learned a few tricks with fun. No one would ever complain about teaching your dog to obey and do tricks. Why is it wrong with horses? They are intelligent, too and enjoy some physical and mental training. And of course they don't look so happy, but that's because they are concentrated. Human artistes don't smile in their performance either...

The behavior of these horses looks familiar....as if she's using the same "horse whisperer" methods that encourage the horses to view her as the lead mare. Amazing performance! And I do believe the horses are happy to perform. An abused animal doesn't willfully do these acts. The training is impeccable!

one of my horses puts his ears back a lot, without being unhappy, sometimes they play that way...watch them with each other, if they are "mouthy" its natural for them. i dont feel at all that those horses are afraid of her, it looked all beautiful and natural to me

Issues the horses may or may not have with one another set aside: I would never tolerate any aggressive behavior to get treats like that. I know this is a performance and they have to smile and go along with whatever happens, but the fact that they all do it repeatedly is a training issue. Not ok!

i think about the two horses as teammates. the other one is pushing the other so they do better. this is an amazing show it shows how you don't need to have a bridle and a bit for the horse to want to perform. its natural the only thing the girl is doing is walking them in and giving them cues. if u wouldn't want a horse that is smart and likes to be in front of crowds, love what it does, and is gentle then thats your problem. the girl is probably also the trainer those horses are here family and she is doing what she loves.. plus lots of people are there enjoying the show.
