i was at the royal welsh show yesterday and after watching him me and my mum tracked him down and i got to see him and get a picture he is so polite and patient with his fans even though his english isn't great when i was there these two americans were saying how what he did was like magic and he seemed taken back by it and just kept saying thank you praise be to god which in his accent sounds very sweet

Удивлению нет предела! Общение плотное с лошадьми было в юности и молодости, но чтобы так ...бесподобно! Очень умные животные,преданные и добрые с хорошем к ним отношением.Школа Отеколь (Невзоров А.Г.). Вот так и надо поражать мир,к сожалению большинство не поймет,чтобы лошадь так научить-дорогого стоит. Я против дурных скачек,соревнований смашедших-вообще запретить.Только так-как делает Федерик!

@specialstuff94 : those horses are totally free to do what they want. They choose to do what he says. He doesn´t whip them, the whip is just used a signal, like a longer arm.

Watching this I really miss the sensation and feel of being around one of the most noble and beautiful beings this world has made, Beautiful, strong, unpredicatble and harmonizing are horses...watch tv all you like on them being around them, I can actually feel it when he gets close to them when preforming! Unsteady and well mannered here, soo damn impressive!! Esp working with large animals in a pack..that I cannot handle!

Their ears do not go flat back at any point, I'm no horse expert but even I know the difference between ears back and ears FLAT back. Seems to be only English speakers trying to say the horses are unhappy - is there perhaps a cultural difference to perceptions? I suggest you watch some of the many clips of JFP training with his horses on the beach near his home, if you're in any doubt as to their well-being. If there is any stress on these horses it's in the show ring, not from the man who gently invites them to perform. The dapple is the least compliant of them, watch the whole thing again and concentrate on her - watch how patient and gentle he is with her in this situation when he wants the best performance from them. By the way, these horses are naked - unshod.

This is natural horsemanship in its true form!! He gently shows the horses what he wants of them, just by raising his hand or a little touch of the whip. The horses treat him with all respect!! He is the supreme stallion in a pack of female horses!! Does any one know if that is the reason why he choose female horses??

Like when I train a horse on a longe: the long whip is used as a signal for the horses: whip upright: everything ok, whip pointig at the rear end: horse should move more quickly, whip pointing at the shoulder: horse walks in a bigger circle, whip lowered parallel to longe: slow down, whip lowered before longe: stop!

If you watch him vs. his brother Frederic, you will notice that his horses are all pinning their ears back while Frederic's look a lot happier performing. Horses do not lie with their body language. These horses are not happy.
