I have one question if u can help me ... how can i see beyond 1300 ... because I'm using long range scope and it gets so foggy beyond 1300 even though i have 1050 ti 4 gb vram

Hey dude. You need your view distance high enough in the Arma graphics settings, at least 500 meters further than what you are trying to hit ideally. King of the hill also has an extra menu that you access using the tild key (above tab and below ESC keys). In this menu you can set separate view distances for on foot, in car and in air vehicle. These settings will override the Arma graphics settings, but I still make sure my Arma graphics settings have a higher view distance. I have my Arma graphics view distance set to 3600 meters for overall and object distance a bit higher still for overall distance, 5000 meters. 3000-3500 is probably high enough for both in koth. In the koth in game menu I use 1500 metes on foot, but if I'm sniping I turn it up to 3500 meters. 1500 is the default which is why you probably can't see any further than 1300 meters ish. I hope this helps.

Arma 3 has made me realize where having a 5.55 is sometimes better than a 338 lapua MAR-10 or a Lynx when your going door to door or under 75 meters. In real life a 300 win mag AR or Falkor Petra weighs about 10 pounds, a MAR-10 or Noreen Bad News 338 lapua weighs 13 pounds. where a lynx weighs 25 or a M107 50 BMG is 29 pounds. If you actually go and pick up a 30 pound rifle it will make you wonder how are you even allowed to aim in Arma 3. The gun in real life is so heavy that it’ would only be useful if you were able to stabilize it on something with the bipod. A 7.62x51 or 5.56 semi auto AR would be useful because you can get 50 or 60 round drum Pmags or 25/30 round strait magazines. The rifle would be lighter allowing better aim.

Hey dude. The extra cammo should be available once you have purchased the gun. As you are choosing your weapon there should be a drop down menu which you will need to click on to see the extra options. Not all guns have the cammo you might think should be available though. The APDS Lynx seems to be only available in black when there is at least one other colour in the game for that gun for example.

Yeah, it can happen. The 2nd from last kill in this video (9:20) is through the tower at almost 2200 meters I believe. But it's still not a guaranteed 1 hit kill through the tower unless it's 1500 meters or less as far as I know.

I like how the title is "APDS Lynx is the best sniper" and in the first clip he clearly only hits that shot because of RNG, his shot placement was actually far to the right of where his bullet went. The APDS Lynx is the quickest round in the game, but it is rather inaccurate at long distances. The first clip show it's inaccuracy very well.

You zero it in, you can see the range your scope is zeroed at in the top right hand corner. You can use the mill dots aswell.

Some people actually snipe with the MAAWS. I use the lynx to snipe from under 1200 meters because after that bullet drop gets a bit silly.

@@fuzzelz502 The MAWWS is by far the best, but I think the RPG7 is pretty good to. Personally though, i used the Alamut 42 while saving for the MAWWS. The PRG 7 has a good rocket speed making easier to hit targets like helis, but they do less damage so won't kill a Mohawk with one rocket as easily for example. The Alamut 42 does more damage than the RPG 7 I believe, but the rocket travel speed is pretty slow making it much harder to hit helis. The Vorona can be good in some situations too, generally the Vorona is better for longer shots. HE is high explosive, but HEAT is high explosive anti tank. HEAT does more damage, but has a smaller splash damage area. HE is better for taking out groups of infantry, like shooting rockets into towers with people in or shooting a wall near a group of infantry. HEAT is the one for destroying vehicles. I hope this helps. :)

Nice vid. If you ask me, the Lynx is best used on midrange (2-300m) against vehicles, chopper and towers, after all its an anti-material rifle. I tried it a few times on longer range but its just not accurate at all and the bullet is slower compared to the M320. But hey, if you can work it out that thing is a damn devastating weapon.

APDS lynx bullet isnt slower than M320, try it in the editor, set target for 1500-2000m and measure the time before impact, APDS is faster. You can also see it here in mil-dot zeroing chart, APDS needs less mil-dots than M320, so you probably was comparing standart Lynx ammo with M320? There is also chart for bulet flight time upto 1600m distance, M320 = 2.875s, APDS = 2.1s steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=416223117

Hey bud. I know what you mean. I don't normally play like that, only when I'm feeling lazy. But yeah, I think the maximum view distance should be a bit more limited for that reason. Each server can set the maximum view distance to whatever they want and this server sets it very high.
