PCSX2 killed it! Been running PCSX2 for years but this newer 64 bit 1.7 version is impressive. Can finally play Ridge Racer 5 properly even! Cool stuff!

I am stunned how incredibly busted this game's emulation turned out on PS5. It managed to run just fine on PS4. When I do get a PS5, still gonna keep my PS4 so that I could play this game in a more stable condition.

It's a shame honestly. The emulation was already poor on ps4 but this is unacceptable. Sony need to improve the backward compatibility on ps5, even some ps4 games have glitches, it truly sucks

@@femto8402 I did hear something about this release using frame-blending to try to get the game to look like it's running at 60 FPS, because for whatever reason, they chose to port the PAL region release worldwide, which originally ran at 50. The frame-blending never bothered me when I played this version. I didn't even know they used frame-blending until I watched a review of the game from a KZbin channel called Calcom, who pointed out the game's performance when he got to talking about the PS4 re-release.

Sony really should just swallow their pride and make a deal with the devs behind PCSX2 and RPCS3 (and maybe even DuckStation too) for compatibility with their old consoles.

I never knew the game’s emulation on ps5 was busted. I actually played this on xbox a while back using the port of pcsx2 and it ran better than what’s on ps5. Man, that’s actually so insane

Well It is still worth debating whether that is a kind of piracy. Don't get me wrong I love the emulator and use it from time to time but for many hard-core console players it takes some effort to get into it. I was like that 10 years ago

@@feiyang2561 I thought that dispute was resolved a while ago. if you burn the copy you bought and play it that way it's fine if you download the rom from a website it's not. and i wouldn't say setting up emulators is a hard thing and this is coming from somebody whose played console all their life.

Sony is too lazy to make PS3 backwards compatibility for PS4/PS5 and the proof is this one, look the texture and glitches even with PS2 games, i think is not hard to make one with source code of the consoles even RPCS3/PSX2 has better stability and quality than a PS console, also counting that RDR1 is coming to PS4 ported from PS3 but not for Xbox (also PC) because they has the backwards compatible version thats why is necessary to preserve the games and consoles

Great game, hilarious, diverse, colored, funny and try to put at limit the Analog Stick. That why i gate this new console, you must buy a game you probably have and they don't optimized this game for this console, i saw video with duckstation or pcsx2 on Xbox series S X, wow that emulator Is awesome
