Nice vid. Always loved ape escape and was so happy to see more. A few things to note Ape 2 (and Pumped & Primed) was localized by Ubisoft because Sony wasn't sure the series would sell well outside Japan. Also Jimmy is Spike's cousin. Being 9 with Spike being 10 Million Monkey's customization mode is actually useful because you can power up gadgets and make more unique gadgets for the cast. By the way the music for the series was composed by Soichi Terada. He's a DJ who uses a mix of Jungle/Drum & Bass which I think fits the series' style and identity!

@@PenguinOverdrive You're truly right. Ape Escape it's my favorite japanese game, the game it's super fun and hilarious. I miss those old times when we are just innocent and happy childs.

I've only just discovered this video, but I found it quite interesting and informative!. I grew up with the main three games and they were a huge part of my childhood. There was so much replayability in each one, especially with the 3rd game having monkeys you could add in using the cheat codes. When playing through the games, the only issues I really took with them were the 2nd game's soundtrack and the unhelpful gadgets. It just wasn't the same without Soichi Terada as the music artist in that game. I always just combated the camera movements in the series by either holding the button down that keeps the camera focused, or tapping it every few seconds until it became second nature. I also never knew there was an Ape Escape PSP game since my PSP was unfortunately caught in a car door not too long after getting it.
