llegue a este video cuando estaba buscando un review de estas camaras(APEMAN C420A Mini). Tengo 2 en mis 2 carros Ambas han empezado a fallar despues de dos años. No son de muy buena calidad. Tambien tengo una Thinkware X500 en otro carro, y esa ha sido perfectamente confiable por 6 años. Tema aparte. me quede con la boca abierta viendo las calles de Pereira... Vivi alla, y hace muchisimo no voy, y WOW.. Que nostalgia! En mi opinio, pienso que el lente de la Apeman vieja ha tenido menos degradacion debido a el hecho de que no ha recibido el sol tan constantemente como la mas nueva.

Hola Carlos, gracias por tus comentarios, y sobre todo por recordad la tierra, he vivivo casi siempre en Bogotá, y al venir por estos lados, fue como amor a primera vista, quien lea este mensaje no puede dejar de visitar el eje cafetero en Colombia. En cuestión de los lentes y las cámaras, efectivamente inclusive dentro de la misma marca pueden tener una vida útil distinta. En el caso de la wheelwitness y una Rover, ya hemos tenido que reemplazar las minibaterías que usan, normalmente muy fáciles de conseguir y puede ser la falla que has tenido. En cuanto a la apeman, una mini y otra la normal, una tiene un video genial, y la mini muy regular... el precio es casi el mismo. Hi, How do you stop the dash screen from going black , after a couple of minutes? Need you help! Please!

Hi Michael. Yes please note that you will have two different menus (press twice menu button). In the second menu, there is screen timer and time out for the camera after powering down your car. One is for how long screen stays on, and the other on for the auto power off function after you leave the vehicle.

Is there a way to protect a scene that just happened and not let it be overwritten?

Yes, you can, there is a small button on top that once you see something happen, you click it and video is tagged as protected,and will not be overwritten. Check them manual to make sure which one it is.

If you already replaced the microSD and the problem persists, there is not much you can do. It usually wears off the card quickly especially if they are 16 GB or smaller, or if the quality of the card is not the best. I've used the ones I have always with these cards, and I've used them for years (amzn.to/3UpXw0j ) PRO endurance may give you more time: ( amzn.to/3wc9b9A )
