I got a calm feeling after watching this video. Truth is, we stress so much to achieve goals, we strive to be perfect. We want and want, and as soon as we receive what we’ve been wanting, we come across something else. We’re never satisfied, never content. We become so tied up with work and bills that we forget the meaning of life. We forget how to live. Nothing matters in the end. Live your life, don’t take work home with you. Live life.
@someonesomeone253 жыл бұрын
And yet life, whether one has meaning or not, is still bad if filled with pain, loneliness, boredom and sadness. I either need to have the opposite of those, or some meaning which makes those worth suffering. Yet I have neither.
@danifurka67903 жыл бұрын
Yeah but on the other hand I feel like it's good to always be hungry and to look forward to setting up and achieving new goals because that's what that's gonna keep you on doing your things in life. But yeah, it's still pretty exhausting when you always wanna achieve your new goals and you never feel satisfied. I think the best way is to find the golden mean where you're looking forward to new goals but you enjoy and appreciate what you have done as well.

@@user-cg4qi6sg1p I would say that last comment is definitely up to speculation. Man made laws are people's own subjective feelings incarnated. This is the only way I see it: is it wrong? No. BUT: It will have a reprecussion. Even if we lived in a lawless world; there will be people that loved and cared for the person/people you kill. And they'll want revenge. It's the "cycle of violence" theory. And once they hunt you down; and inevitably end your life, those that loved and cared for you will probably seek revenge on the people responsible for your death. Crescent Moon, if we humans are merely accidental byproduct of time + matter + chance, then life is ultimately meaningless. But the good news is, you are a treasured creation of an infinitely loving God. If you think life has no purpose that is because you don't know God. This is the condition of humanity because we have rejected our Creator. In our lost state, we don't know where we came from (origin), why we're here (meaning), how to discern right and wrong (morality), and where we will go after death (destiny). But God has not given up on us because he loves us. His purpose for us is to know him. the very source of infinite goodness. To restore our broken relationship, God has revealed himself in the person of Jesus Christ. the most remarkable person who has ever lived. You owe it to yourself to find out who Jesus is. Your life now and your eternity will never be the same. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHyqn4udfcR2sKc www.reasonablefaith.org

*Life is like a train ride.* You hop on the train. You meet people on it. You make some friends. You find someone you like. You may have a descendant. You see people leave the train earlier than you. You fell sad when they leave. You cry when you realize they might not come back. You enter a tunnel and everything seems to go bad. You leave the tunnel and realize it is not as bad as you thought. You start to accept that eventually everyone is going to leave the train. You fell like time is passing by faster than usual. You see that your station is near. You aren’t scared of leaving the train anymore. You say your final goodbyes to the people you meet on the train. You see the doors open. You look back one more time and see the people you meet and the memories you made. You finally see the light when you look back at the doors. You start walking out of the train without looking back. *And finally you reached your station.*

Dude, the meaning of life is what you want it to be and that's a great answer. Yes although whatever you do and whatever impact you make doesn't matter, that just makes everything less stressful because in the end... Whatever happens DOESN'T EVEN MATTER... so why stress over it? Do whatever you want and be happy about it... Ok maybe not WHATEVER you want such as severe crimes like murder or something but whatever makes you happy, life may not be easy but if we try to be optimistic about everything then it gives us the illusion that it's not as hard as we originally thought. Besides, in the end everything's gonna be ok... Even if it's not because again it doesn't matter

I've been feeling overwhelmed recently with personal problems and money worries...I needed a video like this to put things in perspective. We often forget how small and insignificant our personal life problems really are. Our little concerns and stresses about life's details don't amount to anything in the end. We have this short time to run around and then we're gone. 99.99% of us will be forgotten within a generation's time (how much do you think about your great grandfather?). And even so-called icons of history like Einstein, Mozart, Lincoln, DaVinci...aren't even specks of dust on the sweater of the cosmos. While realizing that none of it really matters may feel depressing, it's also incredibly liberating. It takes a lot of weight off your shoulders! We're all in the same useless boat heading for the waterfall into the abyss...the whole damn lot of us. Lighten up and enjoy the ride for whatever it's worth....which of course is nothing!

This reminds me of questions I once had about life and couldn't find any real answers for. The meaning of life sounds very complicated and existential but what I realised was, beyond the fact that nothing really matters, is that it's to live a fulfilling life. Whatever you find fulfilling in this world is what you should be doing. It's nothing to do with superficial materialistic victories or losses. Well, that's my view on it all anyway. Beyond that, there was some information in this video that just blew my mind, things like trillions of years being mentioned and how the narrator envisages the universe ending up. It's always been a fascination of mine, imagining the vastness of space and how infinite it seems. But to stretch out that far and thin only to fade away into a nothingness seems a bit final. Maybe I just can't imagine it. Who knows? I know I'll not be around to witness it unfortunately. Very good video!

K P you realize that this guy here in the video obviously either doesn’t believe in or doesn’t care much about an afterlife, or a more spiritual side towards these years we live? He’s obviously more scientifically and realistically minded, hence why he didn’t give a whole sermon like you’re giving here XD In all reality we have no evidence to prove or disprove your claims, but we do have evidence enough to show evolution specific biological chance on this planet, the Big Bang, the expansion, and the probably collapse of this universe. In all reality if there is a singular god then he is either cruel and neglectful for various possible reasons or a story/concept made by people thousands of years ago, left to grow, degrade, and evolve with the times and varying interpretations throughout history. Realistically the 2nd one is more likely unless and until the human race finds much more concrete proof to the contrary. And even morally I’d think it would be better if there wasn’t a god, for if there were then we would be living under and worshipping someone who supports and looks away when travesties such as terrorism, murder, and other terrible things happen. Living without a god might not have any true meaning. And hey maybe that’s scary. Certainly doesn’t help those of us with depression or anything like that. But I’d say it’s better to live of one’s own accord with no ties to a malevolent creator who seems to not truly care for us (even if there were one, which there is nothing to say there is one). Trust me man, I wish there was a good being like that too. But some things just aren’t true

I am still somewhat young. 36 years old and was born with some abilities that other people may not possess. I talk frequently with my spirit guides and often leave earth to travel elsewhere whenever I am needed. When I first started all of this at a young age, one of the first questions I asked my guides was “why are we here?” And they told me the following…. Earth was NEVER made for human life. When earth was created, it was created for one specific purpose only. For animals. It was expected by these creators who made this planet and the animals who resided here that they would eventually repay the energy back into the universe to balance out the energy that was made to create them in the first place. Since animals could only do so much and were limited, humans volunteered to come here to help put back all of the energy that was used to create this place. There needs to be a balance within the creation of life and humans were the only ones who could create that balance.
@Sorcerollo7 ай бұрын
So the animals couldn't pay their debt, so humans are here because they can pay back the animals' debt and their own? Why not put humans here first to pay back the energy. The beings answer to the first problem seems a bit redundant and poorly though out.

Malisensei I disagree, the idea that there is no underlying objective meaning to life, expressed by this vid and comment, is kind of the truth. It’s not a subjective perspective. It’s the same thing as saying the 3+1 =4 (assumptions of use of number systems taught to kindergartners) So yeah, someone can spend years working on it, and another person can reveal the answer in a ten minute video. That’s life. Edit: it’s also important to note that, though the vid was 10 minutes, it doesn’t mean aperture’s revelation took ten minutes. It probably took a lifetime.

It's always a journey. Just because someone can express a very complex idea in a single video, it doesn't mean that that's all the time they needed and it also *doesn't mean that everyone will see it in the span of a video*. A lesson can be taught one hundred times but, until you take that lesson into who you are, it will remain nothing but a piece of information. Do not diminish your own journey and your own accomplishment. Coming to a conclusion on the way you see life is a process that takes years, some people die without ever getting there! The fact that you took that year to think and search and better yourself is an accomplishment in itself! Be proud of not stagnating. The only true tragedy is letting yourself at the hands of 'destiny' without ever pondering an alternative, without ever making a truly important decision TL;DR: Nah, fam. It takes time. You're still lit ;)

The meaning of life is an organism that breathes and is conscious. I've always thought that the meaning is literally the dictionary meaning and that everyone finds their own purpose or what motivates them. And that's all I've got summarized in a short paragraph. me, being a pessimist, literally looked it up on google: "the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death." Actually, the meaning of life is to explore into comforts & conveniences no man (& woman) has gone before. My objective is to explore 4 pillars: Political, Financial, Spiritual, & Health. 1st one is you are a slave under the scope and purview of the 14th Amendment. Why is the 13th Amendment plural and the 14th Amendment singular? To find out more, go to Roger Sayles website: Peoplespatriotnetwork.com , & see there are only 2 countries in the entire world with Common Law Jurisprudence. Basically they moved the Black's off the plantation and put all Americans onto the federal plantation backed by a private bank. This is all history repeating itself. There is a way out through the Post office called the Passport application Affidavit? Request a DS-11 application. Roger Sayles has a website http;// auspassport4ed.com , & is on weekdays between 8am - 10am, that talks about Freedom and being in bond? So Something In Life Really Does Matter.
