Im a schizophrenic. I do doordash for extra money. One order at night, i arrived and walked to the door, placed his food down and took a picture. I got in my car and drove away. 30 minutes later he called and asked where his food was, i totally remember taking the picture at his doorstep. So he took it up with Doordash. An order later, i opened my back door and.. saw his order. I was so confused why it was there. I remembered everything about going there and taking the picture. He said I was never on his cameras.. Appearantly i hallucinated the whole delivery. I was there, but must of never left the car or even drove up.. What was i doing then?? Staring blankly at the windshield? With glazed over eyes?? I called him and apologized but he already got his refund. I felt so terrible. Im on medication and nothing works. It just goes to show how easily some misfirings in the brain can completely alter your sense of reality.

Did you remember what the delivery address looked like? Did you check it out and see if it differed from the address in your experience?

@yumkikko he had me come back to make sure it was the right address.. and I remember every step.. especially the way his address looked by his door.. it was slightly tilted. I have a voice that I live my life with.. he knows too that we saw it. How it looked up close.. tho now I'm sounding crazy 🤪

@@killurbob3295 i dont think youre crazy, especially if you remember going there. Is it possible that you did all that but then, without thinking, picked it back up and took it with you? I do mindless goofy stuff like that a lot, but I usually catch myself then think "what am I doing?" I notice the frequency increases when I've not had quality sleep or if I'm feeling any negative emotion rather intensely (anxiety, melancholy, boredom, worthlessness, angry, etc.) Do you sometimes suffer from psychotic episodes?

If you turn the trolley to avoid hitting The five people you are essentially are committing murder to the person that you are hitting. Basically the people you are going to hit or out of your control unless you choose to essentially commit murder to the one person on the other track. If you do nothing there is no intention so there is no murder but if you turn the switch there is intention even if it's not to kill the five incidentally it is to kill the one. I have a GED from 1999 but this is this makes sense to me.

Trolley dilema... aim towards the 5. It is more likely that one will notice and communicate to the others to move. Forr the AI problem. Here we have intuition to work with, something AI will never have by it's very nature. Don't try to match wits with a superior intelligence, out feel it.

the idea that a man-made creation could somehow give us the 'universe in the palm of our hands' is...definitely an idea. the point is, AI is just nothing but negatives right now. sure, they could possibly turn into a net gain for humanity, but thinking realistically, in our lifetime, AI are nothing but slightly advanced chat bots and search engines with pre-set algorithms. if you're thinking along the lines of Ai eventually being sentient beings, then that runs into the problems of...well, what then? humans are flawed, inherently violent creatures. our entire existence has been struggling, fighting, warring, and evolving. we age and die before a century is even up. we're squishy, soft, fragile creatures nowhere even close to the top of the food chain. and then we make an AI that sees our flaws and our weaknesses and how, overall, we are a net-loss on the planet, and they would quite probably decide that we need to go because we are nothing but a drain on the planet it curtrently exists on. no matter how you spin it, an AI would be superior to humanity in every way, and there are only two ways superior creatures have ever dealt with inferior ones; subjugation, or extermination. AI nowadays are hardly something to even blink twice at, but sentient AI in the future? that is dangerous.

The trolley problem is one of the stupidest things I've ever encountered. They discuss it every ethics class like it teaches you anything. Sure it's great for ivory tower types or extreme pacifists where it's a black and white world. It also removes emotion, incentives, influence of power/authorities which is involved in any real ethical decision. In most large cities, most people would ignore 5 homeless dying on the street to get to work on time. Yet you talk about "saving" people

Live like God exists. Give your intuition the respect human beings have at their finger tips. Make decisions that cause the problems by not trusting ethical issues as it comes down to having free will that effects your highest good.
