I dont see the option to create forms in my JIRA portal. What am I doing wrong?

This video would've been well rounded if you showed how the form appears on the portal and the issue in the queue once submitted?

Next week's video. How to use Forms in JSM!

Hi there. I work with a team of about 5 marketers, and each marketer submits their own tickets for the dev team. I'm struggling to understand if requiring the marketers to use forms, which will still open an issue, is any better streamlined than them just continuing to create issues in the standard way? Our challenge is the prioritization and organization and tracking of all the tickets coming in to the dev board, which I feel a ticket grooming session will help with - but would forcing the marketers to now use a form intake process as opposed to still just creating tickets help in any way? Thank you!

you can link fields to the form so if it is something you need to report on you can link the fields

Is this just for cloud or does onprem instance have this option as well?

That I have to check. I don't really have access to an onprem version.

Is it possible to configure default "Service Desk Team" to have access to administer just Forms ? It would be quite helpful to allow team leader to adjust/configure their forms without providing them with full "Administer Project" role. Thanks fo all the info.

This is a very useful video. Forms are great to use unless you want to access data within the forms. (At least I haven't found a way.) Forms have 3 significant drawbacks. (1) As the author mentions, JQL cannot access form data unless the form fields are linked to existing Jira fields. (2) Jira Software Cloud can't access or see form data from JSM issues. For example, the form data isn't visible if you clone or move a JSM issue to a regular Jira project. (3) JSM can't export form data as a CSV or HTML. The Jira List feature can't display unlinked form fields. I love Atlassian products, but the lack of form access is frustrating.

This option is just useless so much. I want request/fields more flexible not another 'form' with old limitations
