Thanks for this. Can’t wait for your next live stream. This video was great for me. Especially the breakdown of initiatives and themes. I want to use that with our directors in order to get them to start thinking more strategically and getting those ideas from their heads to paper so we can really break down how long something might take

I'm so happy you enjoyed the content! Thanks for the compliment. I'm working on a couple courses that I'm launching in January and I appreciate the positive reinforcement.

Another great video. I share a lot of your learnings as a fellow scrum master. Side note: I wonder what gear you use for your videos now? This one has a really crisp and clean view of the your background with the PIP of your camera. Looking forward to more!

Hello, I haven't one a live stream in a while. They will be resuming the last week of May 2023. Times will be 5 PM PST.

Such excellent tuition thank you, random question but related to plans/roadmaps. At the beginning when you bring in the relevant projects you see fit for plans. As you tweak change and construct your version is there any chance of unintentional change to the other imported projects that are visible? I assume that each individual project has its own permissions and anyone other than those on the list would not be able to do this even if you do also press the magic review changes button?
@ApetechTechTutorials Жыл бұрын
Correct, you still need to have the appropriate access in all the projects that are in your plan in order to create or edit issues.

Hi, this was a very informative episode and I thoroughly enjoyed. I had a question that I was hoping you could help with. I see that when you click on the code of a Jira story, it opens the details panel on the right side of the screen, similar to the backlog in Jira software. How is this done?
@ApetechTechTutorials Жыл бұрын
I don't think I understand your question.

What are the steps to create this release date line in the Advanced Roadmap? (reference 56:00)
@ApetechTechTutorials Жыл бұрын
Make sure the release is in one of your source projects. Then, the line will be there for you to expand.

I want to extra the field LINKED ISSUES in Field but I cannot see it for selection.
@ApetechTechTutorials Жыл бұрын
It should be there. Did you check your field configuration to make sure the field wasn't disabled?

In the work progress tracking section, I have an issue or let's call it a question: At levels above Epic, like Initiative how do we see % roll up of the Epics and Stories reflected correctly? It is just showing me that my Initiative is in progress whole in one colour (blue in my case). Shouldn't it reflect the colour and % as per the stories and epics statuses rolled up?
@ApetechTechTutorials2 жыл бұрын
I believe if you hover over that blue progress bar, it should show you a %. I just don't think it will show you % complete or anything fancy like that.

Some of the issues in my plan are kind of grayed out. Do you know why that might be happening?
@ApetechTechTutorials2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that means that your filter shouldn't show them. . .but it's showing them to you because Jira thinks it's relevant, but your filter doesn't seem to think so.
