This is the first look at the Apex Jump drive for Electric Mountainboards . We are privileged to have the opportunity to test, ride and obtain a set of this new steel eskate drives. The small form factor helical gear drive and generational leap in form factor.
Electric skateboarding or Eboard is often relegated to the urban scene. There is much more out in the wilds and the hills for an Apex Predator board and particularly the new jumpdrive

how much torque do they tolerate? or amperage/watts on different motors setup for let's say 12S as a gold standard. or to be clear how much Nm's compared to other drives? we know nothing right now to be honest

The very large brains at Team Apex have responded with “ As no other drives have any info of this type there would be nothing to benchmark them against. Real world testing shows 100 motor amps/100 battery amps at 12s with 63100 motors riden over the harshest terrain by some of the best AT riders of the moment. Hasn’t proved a problem? In terms of torque they have been tested with 140kv motors at 100a. Probably the highest torque scenario that anyone is likely to practically use.”
