Gotta get a few more solar panels and what not but those definitely look hell of a lot lighter then the boardnamics and with the quick release wheel mounts, it really bypasses a lot of issues I've had with them too..... but your chain drive looks mad tasty too.....

Is there a way to possibly get these on other types of axles? Looks like it must go on the square tapered trucks to support the torquing force.. The jump drive looks like the solution from all the current offerings.

@@LeeWright The Propel models are based on belt drives but if the belt was enclosed or converted to gears the overall board would be another level better. those with experience with belt drives know the issues they can pose when off roading.

Hi Daniel, unfortunately due to the stepped hanger/axle design and variable tolerances we decided to not support the Matrix 2, hopefully the Matrix 3 will fix this and we can support it

Hi mate! Love your job buddy! Great review as always! I want to ask you about this gear drive. Thinking about the Moon E-Skate gear drive. Can you tell me how loud they are if were to compare them with apex? How much they weight? Can I fit them to any trucks, i mean moon and apex? Just ordered Flux AT2 ,want to change this belt drive straight away. Secound question about wheels, witch one AT is better ,9 or 10 inch for every day riding, just time to time little off road(70-30%). My friend says " 8inch is for a babies,9 for girls, 10 for a man" :D What do you say about that? :D Cheers.

Our gears are slightly louder perhaps, but our gears do not fit the matrix 2 trucks on the flux anyways. 8 inch tyres for the win!

@@bertrester9138 like I say dude we had to move away from plastic gears as our customers kept stripping them. We went to Boardnamics steel drives temporarily whilst we finished development of the Jump Drives. Now we’ve got our own solution!
