I just bought one of these last week to put on my new Elite Energy32 I have shot a single pin for about 2 years and I love the single pin sights , I tried this out before I bought it and the minute I put it on I fell in love with it , I hunt a lot out of ground blinds and The PWR-DOT is going to be the cat's meow , Recommend to anybody who likes a single pin

Great concise review!( lol, except the great wrench debacle;)Any pros/cons as compared to the Truglo?( apart from which reticle style the individual prefers?)

I haven't seen the TruGlo version in person but based on the description & photos the Apex has less moving parts & is a little more compact.

As far as hunting goes. need to check with local game laws. many states outlaw the use of anything that actually lights up. I still plan to use one. even if just for target. thanks for all the good info

if it starts raining while your in the stand, throw it away, but if you hunt out of a blind, this bad boy rocks.

RLMUD The sight itself is waterproof. As far as rain getting on the lense, there is a neoprene cover included w/ the sight.

At 30m my sight is down as fast as it can go, can anyone tell me why and will it prevent me from firing from longer distances ?

Do you use a sun shade with your scope or not just deal with the little glare with it especially elevated?
@dougbarabe78612 жыл бұрын
do you have to use a allen key to tighten down the windage ?

So setting at 20yards should be center of the sight?

Thanks for the video. This sight has my interest. Have you hunted with this in snow or rain? Wondering how the lens will hold up to distortion during that kind of weather.

Haven't had a chance to hunt with it but, as long as you keep the lense cover on until the moment of truth you shouldn't have a problem.

How far does it stick off the front of the riser?

The only bad thing I can see about it if the sun is to the back of you there could be a glare?

i had an issue with mine after 5 months of shooting it. the screws holding the turn knob for brightness came loose on me and my light wouldn't turn on. great sight until that happened, i tried to open it up and tighten the screw but the moment i got the battery out i couldn't get to the screws at all.

Vang Thao Seeing some people had similar issues, I noticed recently, Apex changed the design of the adjustment knob. I personally haven't had an issue.

Yeah some serious reflections going on of the housing, but shouldn’t be a big issue through the peep.
