Gotta say the Voyager is a GREAT board,have this & an Acedeck Nomad gear drive & its always tough deciding which to ride,still undecided about getting the gear drive.

Same here Scott. In the UK I can get a big fine and six points on my license, more or less the same as serious car offenses. We just ride anyway, carefully!!

I live in nsw and I had to get a medical certificate to ride in nsw, you can ride them as a mobility device in nsw now, i think it was Feb last year the law came in. Gotta carry the medical certificate around at all times. Anyways love ya Vids Scotty keep up the mad work ya legend 💯👌

Hi thx for this vidéo....2081 kms in 14 months with my Voyager ( my bad next in french) définitivement rider électrique est délicieux, fun,un brin fou ..... pour moi les cyclones 110 sont les meilleures roues tant en ville qu’en inter cités, avec ma configuration courroies 255 pullies 34 j’ai entre 26 et 40 km d’autonomie, le plus dingue c’est qu’il m’à coûter moins de 40€ d’électricité en tout(5/6 recharges par mois)....totalement fou, je ne reviendrai Jamais aux moteurs thermiques...lol...sinon j’ai pété 4 jeux de courroies à cause des graviers,donc le gear drive me plaît d’avance...bons rides à tous et toutes

The belt drive board you were riding looks a lot like the Boosted V2. Have you ridden that? If so, do you you find similarities? I end up using it more than my Evolve Bamboo 2, which I ended up only using for longer trips in Melbourne. Don't have any boards at all now.

Great awareness for the different connectors! Probably very few initial voyagers had this different connection. It will be easy for meepo to make an adaptor cable to send out to the small percentage of owners with your issue. So many options with gear drives available! Let us know how u solve this issue with meepo!

Hey Kyle, already solved. seems mine and 1 other had the early connection, Luckily no customer boards are effected, They will send a new esc tomorrow so I can fit and test the gear drive !

@@scottdaviesyoutube Hey Scotty, that was a quick response! Try to make some content about the ESC replacement... Hopefully it's easy and straight forward. On a side note regarding ESC replacement, I'm currently upgrading my Acedeck X3 ESCs and found out that the ESC cannot be removed! I've tried prying and hammering the old ESC from the metal heatsink and it's impossible. I wish I knew this before buying this board. Other than that, 4wd direct drive is my favorite!

🤔 is the esc is toast can you use a gentle heat to soften the bond or glue ? Have you asked Ace for a idea on how to remove I remember batch one that used a super strong bond on their enclosure lids that required a little heat gun to get open Maybe the same solution may work

Although the gear drive looks shit hot on the voyager I am not really convinced by it. No maintenance for 2 years or a certain amount of kilometres sounds great but then what type of maintenance will it need? Just a quick re-grease? Or will the gears wear out? A quick belt swap is easily and cheaply done..

It's just absolutely ridiculous that NSW is SO far behind with their PEV laws. With jammed up bumper to bumper roads, fuel costs, constant public transport disruptions and not to mention carbon emissions, PEVs provides one of the best solution for these problems while getting you from A to B in a fun way. NSW is held back by the reluctant conservative nay sayers that are scared of genuine positive change in the way we think of urban transport. Sad really... I still live in hope that one day NSW will wake up and embrace PEVs. Till that day comes, I'll keep riding and keep trying to be a positive example of how great these things are! One PEV = One Less Car.

I stood in that same place in 1989 after having lived in QLD for 1 year . And i felt relief when i turn and went back into QLD. But the daylight savings thing is a Queensland problem not New South Wales. But that is a tiny issue when living in such a great place .
