@ really cause as the video states it’s not even breaking 100,000 player count right now and each day that 78 thousand average keeps dwindling mind you once the EPG comes out it’ll probably shoot up again but not to 100,000. plus all the other ongoing issues that they refuse to address just so they can add another item shop. Right now the game is on its last leg and once EA and the shareholders realized that it’s no longer going to increase profits which is probably gonna be very soon they’re just gonna drop the game entirely because my poor money into a game that’s not gonna make the money so no, it’s not dead yet but I doubt it’s gonna make it halfway through 2025

I remember, apex used to be my favorite game and most played game of all time. i used to play it endlessly with strangers that i met online, and made good friends with them as well. But the current apex is not what i fell in love with. I loved apex for its unique characters, its storyline, its lore, the stories for the outlands, the fan arts, the crazy clips, no crying sweats, when pubs were pubs and ranked was a seprate mode, when battlepass made you excited for a new season, when you get on youtube and see leaks or teasers for a new legends. Those days are loooong gone. And the game i fell in love with is dead.

At this point they already know that the game is mostly dead, so they are just trying to milk everything they can, not even trying to ressurect the game. I´ll not be surprised if they soon announce apex legends 2 or titanfall or something related to apex. It was 5 good years boys, GGs.

If they gave all the legends their own heirloom first then introduced universal heirlooms that would be ok but they’ve completely ignored the remaining legends who don’t have heirlooms and still haven’t updated all the mythic skins with dive trails 👿. And the number of tabs and currency for all these store items is both desperate and crazy 😵‍💫. Literal crack head tactics.

I have no problems with the store tabs. I have a problem with the ridiculous pricing of those skins and i hate those gamble events, that *force you* to gamble, if you want to have certain skins. Specially when you think about the fact, that you get an *full tripple A title* with hundreds or thousands(!) of free skins for the same price as 2-3 of those store skins in apex and *5x tripple A titles* for the price of *one* useless purely cosmetic item that is just there for looks. (heirlooms that aren't even that rare or special anymore) You can purchase 5-30 *full* indie games with hundreds or thousands of unique skins and items or boosters that actually do something in those games for the same prices as items like those mythic heirlooms. This is the real problem. The pricing of those *purely cosmetic* items/skins. They should cost 1-2$. Not 18$ per item/skin.

I quit apex because of 1 reason that neither ea or respawn has addressed, the legends are getting boring. I used to grind this game for more than 10 hours a day every day back in season 6, 7, 8 and 9, but now after they decided to not drop a new legend every season, playing the same legends over and over and over again started to bore me. I decided to try to main different characters that I had never played before, their abilities were so fun! For the first game I played them, their abilities got so boring and I realized how simplistic all the legends were. I realized that with many other reasons, is probably the biggest reason people started to quit the game, which most people who quit were either noobs thinking the game is boring or trash, or the average players (like me) who played the game for years but thought the game was boring and trash. I tried to play the game for the 1st since mid 2022, and it was full of sweats, doing crazy movement and beaming me from red armor and full health, to none. The game for me has begin to be boring ever since again after EA and Respawn stopped getting creative and gave up on the game, making it into a wealth farm even though because they have made any changes in 3 WHOLE seasons, they expect there to be hundreds of thousands of players playing their game like back in the good first 9 seasons.

People really need to stop and get off of the copium inhalers and injectors Apex can't be saved. And it's been like this for many seasons now. Each new season I hear "this is make or break for Apex", and every few months it's the same story It's ran by Respawn, that belongs to EA. EA dictates stuff, yeah, but Respawn also don't do things that they need to and can do. for example, they open a new studio that will focus specifically on the game improvements, and then they re-organize it into a studio that focuses on making new cosmetics. And look what Respawn did with titanfall before Apex, they just abandoned the game. Yeah the game was pretty bad and there was no content, but they left it still. And then they were quiet about the hackers basically controlling the whole game, for years. So both EA and Respawn are to blame for Apex. Respawn can't fix the game, and EA just pushes the greed further and further But people keep buying into it every time and I just can't believe it Apex players are actually dumber than moths flying into lamps and burning themselves

The gameplay can be saved with straight shot revival. Its honestly the best gamemode they have ever released and since i got surprised today by seing it being back in rotation, i directly played it again. *For context:* I mostly get f*cked by the matchmaker. 0-300 damage per game and 0-3 kills. I am an casual solo queue player that plays for fun. Not for sweating in and getting 4k, 20 bomb badges or higher pred ranks. Meanwhile my enemies usually have diamond, master or multiple times pred badges, 10-200k kills and average on 5x 20 bombs per day with 4-6k damage. My teammates on the other side are way worse then me in most pubs and ranked games. In straight shot revival, i played 2h today and got 75% of my games 500-1500 damage - sometimes even up to 2.5k! - and 5-10 kills with *finally* good teammates. Why is that? Probably cause sweats and cheaters stay out of this mode, since it is way harder to get 4k 20 bomb games with just 30 people and fixed spawns. So they stay in pubs and ranked. I *love* the fixed spawns, fighting *one* team off drop with well kitted guns and then searching the next team with just half the map being available. This was the first day since the last straight shot revival that i actually had fun 75-90% of the games i have played. Specially with the void relic additions and almost no sweats. They really need to make this an permanent mode for casual players like me, that don't want to sweat in and just want to have fun. If every day runs like this, i will actually return to apex and play way more then before. - instead of playing 4h in a row to get pissed again and then quitting the game for another week.

Tbh...I don't have any issue with monetization, since Its not like I can't play if I don't spend money on it.....the problem lies elsewhere, like not attending to the game itself. The terrible servers, SBMM, lack of gamemodes are the main reason the game is failing, and cheaters(even tho cheat issue is truly a hard cookie everywhere).

Keep straight shot revival with the matchmaker as it was for me today and i will keep playing this game for a few hours daily, cause i had *fun* for the first time since straight shot revival was the last time in rotation. I'm a casual player, so it was very relieving to see almost no sweats in my rounds today.

My thoughts on the only way to save the game is honestly - Most of the newer legends need to be removed as the game has moved too far away from abilities being used tactically, to just being about movement. All the original legend abilities were all very simple mechanics, whilst the newer legends have abilities that completely turn battles more into who is able to use their abilities faster - Skins need to stop being made, and many of the newer skins should just be removed as their aesthetic has become far too flashy, ugly and generic, and making new skins that fit in the classic titanfall vibe is impossible as making new, original skins will become impossible at some point anyway. The player focus is drawn too much into materialism instead of just silly fun - Battlepass should honestly just be removed as it pulls too much player focus into materialism instead of just having plain fun- players just end up playing to get more stuff instead of experiencing something fun - The matchmaking system would need a serious rework, as extremely many lobbies end up being filled with smurfs and twitch streamers, creating an immense skill gap - Maps need to be reverted into a style more similar to S0 kings canyon (again, titanfall vibe), as the newer maps are simply far too flashy in a non aesthetic way Of course Respawn would never do this, and Apex Legends really has reached a point of no return

Apex is very, very far from being dead. I do wish things were cheaper in the shops but every free to play game is going to try to make money somehow.. you don't like the games monetization style of a game then no one is holding you hostage to buy anything... It's not the fact that they're trying to make money. It's the fact that they prioritize making money or "monetize" the game over things the game really needs such as engine upgrades, bug fixes (such as audio), matchmaking, content, etc. They also still only use 20hz servers when games like Roblox use 128 hz servers which isn't a HUGE problem for me since I have crazy good internet (bullets will still hit me around corners like in the movie Wanted released in 2009) but not everyone does. Apex legends has made over $3.4 BILLION in its life span yet it's simple things a big company like EA should be able to address/fix. Day one player here and I've seen things that have worked from the start that will be broken way too late in Apex's lifespan all of a sudden like when last season (season 22) dropped, ziplines were a bit broken. Why? They've been working fine from the start, why'd they break now? I don't care about them wanting to make money. That's fine. It's the fact that it holds an EXTREMELY high priority over everything else and simple things that a big game like Apex should have. Of course I'll play the game because I love it but it's a damn shame too see where EA have their priorities.

It's how it goes:D New update messes with something old and breaks it, fix that and then the fix breaks something else. Overall go play other Mp games BR's and check, same sht everywhere. Fortnite riddled with bugs, fps drops, Eu servers are horrible at least for me and my friends, don't even talk about cod lol. It's gaming in general that is broken and half finished all about money.
