The Old Ways has a few interesting things. First, Bloodhound, the character in that trailer, goes by They/Them. Secondly, if you recall in "Based on a True Story", Alter said one of her backstories was literally "The Old Ways" trailer; "I was a warrior of the Old Ways. Also, I had a bird." *Dramatic Turn to Camera*... Now, considering the old ways spurn technology and Alter is an augmented human, I doubt they would accept her... And even then, how would she literally take Bloodhounds place? Was that really an alternate dimension, or is Alter just lying? And if she lied there, how many other backstories were false? What really is the true story her entire trailer was based off? Voidwalker was the first Stories of the Outlands to be released, and was big. It also gave us an explanation for Wraith's Heirloom - the Kunai - that had been in the game since the start, and also gave us the Voidwalker skin, which is that suit she had on. Fun little thing about "Up Close And Personal" is that Respawn put Forge into the game files. Leakers found abilities, data, all sorts of stuff for him. Some were suspicious because they weren't fully realized powers yet, and then bam, this trailer drops and Forge gets offed. All of the files for Forge are deleted and swiftly replaced with Revenant. Bonus neat fact: you could find his medallion for a limited time in a death box where he was killed.
