I hope they don't remove the main Apex from the switch because that would be absolutely disrespectful to anyone who paid money in the base game. I really don't know why they insist on making a mobile version of the game when you had every single console and PC that can run it way better.

they wont kill the switch version. I think what we're gonna see is an apex mobile version thats just like apex but on mobile and allowing cross progression when it comes. Apex mobile used to be on unreal engine 4, this leak says a new apex mobile is being made on source engine, same as main apex :D

Mobile market is huge and is still growing. As far as what EA is thinking, they'll allocate their resources to where the money is every time.

Not everyone has a powerful PC or console. But almost everyone has a smartphone. The potential for mobile is huge. Just look at codm and pubgm success. What killed the previous mobile was terrible management. Not to say the Main game has the best management either lol. But I think creating a mobile version and making it cross playable with the switch would have introduce a lot more people to apex. Increasing its player base by a lot.

My suspicion on why Apex Mobile got canned was probably a disagreement between Tencent and EA, prompting the cancellation of the game. EA cannot get the game files from Tencent but EA had already a starting off point where they can use the Switch version as the basis of a mobile port. Do note that even if the Switch OS is more optimized than Android, it's also running underclocked and an old gen processor, so most mobile processors released in the last 2 years should be more powerful than the game running on Switch.

Since it wasn't around that long. It would've been nice if they intentionally unbalanced the game for testing purposes other than making the G7 Scout a care package weapon. Like giving Pathfinder a grapple slam and grapple loot. Lifeline calling in a cluster of Care packages, or Gibraltar's dome shield healing allies.

It's gonna be difficult to implement considering the inputs needed for movement. Only big role is that you're gonna see aim assist on mobile to vastly superior than in controller.

Tbh, Battleroyale gameplay in Apex mobile is something more complex and fun than the other BR games currently out in the mobile market (Farlight, CODM, or PUBGM). The adrenaline i had to almost wipe off 2 squads on my own as Wraith was a unforgettable memory of mine from the previous game version. It was really a wild ride, I really like games that poke my brain so hard to think of ways to defeat other players, so something I haven't had since i started playing codm for 2-3 years ago, i was a 8 time legendary rank player in BR, it wasn't just so fun anymore.

Yup, Battlefield mobile was also a good one if they didn't cancelled it too. It would've been the Squad or Battlebit of mobile. Where infantry, tanks and helicopters are involved in the gameplay not just pure FPS.

Well it will surely gonna take them awhile, but some also argue they won't since cross progression in Switch means the game source is same as the switch engines, hell, Android processors nowadays which are released 2 years ago are more powerful that of from Switch. So it's highly likely it'll be a 50/50.

I had my good time with apex mobile. Didnt played that much but i hit diamond really quick in a day or so twice and i literally only used the wingman in all my games so im not missing anything. I somehow knew they will delete the game so i never spent money on the game. I spent 500€ on ps4 apex and my acc got falsely perm banned 2years ago for trying to defend myself per textchat from teammates who randomly try to harass me per voice chat with heavy racism and all that. I lost a lvl 500 acc with many day1 skins i quit the game since i made a new acc but its not that fun anymore without a heirloom and ssbmm fuking me up i had a 7kd first now its like 2 or 1 and i always get master/diamond+ pub lobbies with wveryone 4k basges 20bombs while my account is lvl 30. i bought the battlepass and cant even do most quest cause bo legends. I even bought 140apex packs couple days ago hoping i can get my wraith heirloom back but no luck lol.
