I bought one of these back in 2010. Still have the original wool pad. The foam pads got replaced though. I use mainly for headlights and wheels.

THANK'S GOOD VIDEO !! I couldn't find a metal polish product, I don't remember who turned me onto this tube of paste but they knew he problems I had cleaning and shining at the time, but I went n bought a tube of it, it wasn't like anything I had ever. It's called WEN-ALL, there was no longer any work to it, all I had to do was to spread on a vern thin amount of the paste and let it set for the length of time.. I don't remember now.. sorry ! but just wiped it off was really easy and the metals I have ever applied it to was as super shiney and clean like brand new metal whether it was plated or bare it was as best as was possible and left with a protective coating, I'll never use anything else. 1 tube last for years. I paid 10.99 20 years ago,no idea nowadays, but it's worth it. was sold only at specialty Outside deck and patio/fireplace and grill store here that has the higher end products... that's why you never read about it ! WENALL is it, and it's super great on all metals', I wanted to see just what it could do, I applied a tiny bit on the tubular aluminum like used on super cheap (quality) like Walmart or dollar stores and after I wiped it after it simi'dry and it looked nothing like it did before.

Is there an advantage to using pneumatic polishers vs electric or battery rotaries? Obviously pneumatics are louder, which is a drawback...but I'm interested in seeing where these might give me an edge (headlight restoration, for example?).

Brian, how is the best way to get rid of the white compound that gets in the cracks and on the rubber that sometimes surrounds the metal your polishing?

When the masking tape fails... I use a few drops of Citrol 266 (Schaeffers) to clean it out.. then condition and protect the rubber or plastic with Angelwax Corona.

Diamond plate tears up pads and equipment. I save old wool pads from the rotary and use them. Such as the little wool pad shown in the beginning of the video.👍🏻

Try the polishing kit from Zephyr. They have special pads and polishes just for what you want to do. Tons of videos on KZbin to see how it works.

I have been watching Dennis from DC SuperShine for a couple years, with great appreciation. Thanks for suggesting Zephyr; Their kits are a little more affordable than the larger ones from DC SuperShine. I only get a few toolboxes each year, but as Brian noted they tear up everything that I've used. I am going to finally get a Zephyr kit. Thanks again.
