This the second video comparing these fantastic one step polishes. One step polishes are pad dependent. surround yourself with a few quality pads up and down the aggression scale, grab of these one steps, and you are in business!
3D ONE Hybrid cutting compound and finishing polish accelerate polishing performance. It has nano ceramic alumina abrasives that easily correct paint scratches by using a DA or high-speed rotary polisher. 3D One is a unique product: apply on a cutting pad to remove heavy scratches and then apply on a finishing pad to deliver an exceptional high gloss finish. It’s easy to use easy to clean up and it leaves the perfect finish every time. It works best when applied in a shaded area, but it is also sun-friendly.

Thank you for sharing this information. I was a bit disappointed that Extreme Solutions didn’t fare better as I like to use some of their products to finish (Finale or Helios). You are so correct about being realistic with customers as to what they should expect and about what we see and what the average person sees. At least I tend to be more critical of my work (chasing perfection) than what a customer is happy with. Phil @Miranda talks a lot about this in his videos. I don’t like having to tell a customer that part of their car has been repaired and repainted (which we couldn’t see when dirty) but once cleaned and polished is obvious. Anyway thanks again for the information 👍✌️☮️

Basically the Koch Chemi, TLC & 3D are virtually identical. Just goes to show how good those 50/50 pads are in cutting and finishing. A true one pad does it all. I live in Australia and it would come down to the cost to really separate each of them. Not sure what is the cheapest in the US. In relation to ultimate gloss, if you change to a finishing pad, would it again bump up the Gloss???? Still very impressed with all of them. Good vid.

I have the same question. I would imagine a finishing pad would bump up the gloss, and I'm not sure why anyone would go about using a microfiber pad for polishing. Will it work? Yes, but theres no way it works as well as a soft finishing foam pad.

While the video is comparing apples to apples fairly, are we not seeing the full potential of their gloss enhancement capabilities, since, as I understand it, one steps are, by nature, diminishing polishes? As such, unless the polish is worked over with multiple passes, it is still mostly cutting rather than getting to the polishing stage, no?

Hey Brian great channel you have 👍. Learning lots from these videos. Why don't you take the best finishing polishes of each company's and go over these and see which ones get you closest to 100 GU? example xtreme solutions has 403 for dark or 404 for light colors or 496 finale. On my car I did a 3d one with 50/50 uro pad then, XS 403 with a lake country black finishing pad. Then put TW graphene flex wax, followed with XS poly seal, and last was XS black diamond past wax and it's hitting in the 101-105 GU. People look at it and ask me what it cost to have an older(2009) car repainted lol.

@charlesarmstrong3536
@charlesarmstrong3536 2 жыл бұрын
I am no pro, so take this for what it's worth. Your question needs more info to answer. What are you using to polish with? DA? Long throw, short throw? If you don't polish all the time I would start with a light polish pad and step up to a light cutting pad if needed. It depends on your polisher and polish. What do you want to apply to the paint for protection? Wax? Synthetic Sealant? Ceramic? Don't chase every scratch or you will go through the clear or cause premature clear failure if it gets to thin. Car makers have been putting barely the minimum clear on cars the last few years.

@@charlesarmstrong3536 thanks for the insight. I have a little bit of experience as I paint corrected and ceramic coated my car with Brian’s metal oxide coating.
