Apexel isn't available in my country. There are other brands like Kodak with a 15x macro lens, but its lens is not as wide as Apexel's. Does a wider lens mean it has better quality?

No wider mean it will capture more field of view. In simple language it will capture more things in your video or photo. I have made comparison videos between two wide angle lens you can go through that.

i bought it , but the outer frame of lens body is visible in the shot in the coners of the photo , it appears as black quarter ring shape in corners , how to solve this problem?

Sir always use main lens don't use wide angle lens or 2x lens from your mobile. And still if it's coming in your frame then just 1x zoom from your mobile and the black border will go off.

Its upto your phone camera. If your phone camera wide angle lens is of good megapixel then you don't need this. But if it's now good then you can buy this lens and use with main camera lens.
