Thank you for this. Also, In your second example, can you please share how you added the value of "SBQQ__Partner__c" to the Price Condition 'Field' pick list? I have looked everywhere and I cannot find how to add a value to this list. Any help is appreciated!

Go to the Price Condition object and check for the fieldname which is field... it is type picklist ..there u need to give value in picklist.
