Got it today. Not impressed. I also have the origin cali76 TX. Not sure why you would sell it over the API CMT. I also have the Tranzformer LX for bass. The one knob is smoother. If there is a transformer in the CMT its got to be cheap for a unit to be 280. Its been around for a few years and i don't see many bassists with it or talking about it. I think it's made more for guitar. Also, thry have a funny way to send in the warranty. What happens if you don't have the aps, they have for you to send it. A picture of the bill should be enough. Why even send a bill if you have a serial number.

Bummer you didn’t enjoy it! The 76TX (my version) lacked the wet dry blend, high pass filter, and on top of that for me to use it as subtle as I wanted, I was having to have a low input and high output ending up with noise. There’s a lot I liked about the big Cali, but the value on reverb is way overhyped and the special edition of the big box to get all the features is even crazier price. The API gives you a lot of features and an inherent tone shape that I like. Not many bassists used the tranzformer LX either but I still think it was a great box (even though I didn’t like it’s output level and the workflow).

Sorry to harp on this, but you can by a real 1176 clone for less than the price of the TX
