Api Life Var In Late Summer

Treating my hives in late summer with Api Life Var to help keep mite levels low.
so far mite washes have been zero but usually around the end of August or early September mites start showing up and they continue to go up through the fall. so hopefully this will keep them low or at zero. I'll treat them with oxalic acid dribble in mid to late October to help clean up any lingering mites or ones that may have drifted in from nearby hives.

Update: it doesn't really smell that bad just strong kind of like listerine or vix, also the Bee's get used to it quickly

Huh that's weird I just bought mine last week from the beemaid in Tisdale. Hopefully they keep selling it, so far I like Api Life Var. I'm trying to get away from apivar and hopefully switch to using formic, oxalic and thymol.
