hi sir! which is ideal in getting water from d koi pond before testing it. do you need to turn off the sub pump and aerator or is it ok to get sample from d pond while your system is working? i just want to clarify though. .

Hello Jay, it's perfectly fine to take water sample with filtration system active or not active. Either way your water test sample totally fine.

@@thekoipondexperience1259 welcome sir. Btw sir for my own knowledge ask ko if base sa 5 category sa test kit. Can u rate them 1to5 base sa importance nila na need talaga e test for better sa alaga natin examp. 1 is nitrate 2 nitrite. Looks like this sir

@@rieljohnlapinig2802 Ammonia & Nitrate. Silang dalawa equally dapat monitored. Lalo na if may mapansin kang unusual or not normal sa behavior ng mga alaga mo. It's a good time to do a test. Sa pH never ko pa yan na manage or nagawan ng intervention. So basically hindi ko pansin. Then Nitrite naman very common na mababa parati yan, even sa ibang keepers pansin ko mababa rin sa kanila most of the time. So that's a good thing. But if masinop ka lods, weekly cleaning ng mechanical filters then minimum two times a week partial water change then your in good hands.
